@@Creature_Features I'm from merry old England. To be honest, when it said it was blocked by the Lasso co, I didn't know if I should talk to you or John Wayne.
If you enjoy this, you really owe it to yourselves to watch it again on the MST3K CZcams channel. The quality is clearly not as good picture wise, but I think it is one of the funniest MST3K episodes of all time! Thanks for uploading it, this might be the first time I've seen it in "serious" mode. LOL
Thanks for that! Serious mode!
I love the Dolf Lundgren lookalike hero. While everyone else has to walk around in heavy uniforms, he gets to parade around in a singlet😅
And what about those space priestesses?
Bifecta, trifecta -- this flick is the mother of all fectas--filmed in glorious FectaVision. So glad I bought cheesies for movie night
Fecta-vision!
This movie is way better than the new Star Warts ...
Don't they have a over the counter med for that?
I remember watching this movie 🍿 on video. Along time ago
Happy memory?
@@Creature_Features I know it definitely used scenes from Battlestar Galactica, and the guy was playing. The commander definitely looked impressive as an elder leader.
I love the 70's captain america made for TV movies. I wish you could show one of them. Great video as always Al.
You and me both!
Reb brown i loved him in the 1970's captain Americs made for tv movies.
I wish you could show "death too soon" its a classic!
Great vid as always Al.🎉🎉🎉
Me too!
Anon…the Valerians, apparently a race of sexy, lithe fusion belly dancers who collect disco plasma balls and used lace draperies somehow join up to save the universe from any semblance of reality…like Cameron Mitchell’s real hair and beard…courtesy of Astro turf…and just when did sleeveless t’s become standard fighter pilot garb? “I’m going by myself…there are only 200 of the enemy, but I will win” …the doorknob of the year contest…all this just to find at the end the villain is alive…meaning…no no say it isn’t so…a sequel…to quote Charlie Brown…AAAARGH!
It's a fun movie! No brains included.
Cameron Mitchel was certainly versatile - versatile enough to be a hack in just about any genre of movie. Although he was superb as the unhinged 'Uncle Vance' in Denis Donnelly's 'The Toolbox Murders', and then there was 'Cataclysm' where he disco-dances with the devil himself... He was a notorious slob in real life and terribly rude with fans, apparently... I did feel a bit sorry for him though, in later years, such as his tiny obnoxious bit part at the beginning of Greydon Clark's 'Without Warning' - the flesh frisbee alien movie... one of several horror movies that also saw 'mad shouty' Martin Landau and 'grizzled veteran' Jack Palance co-star their way into retirement together.
He did say as he got older he really didn't like himself.
I can't tell if I've seen this before or not. Anyway, when I saw the title I had a feeling there would be reused footage, but Battlestar Galactica was not what I was expecting, that scene from Battle Beyond the Stars maybe, but not this.
I also have to say, I love it when low budget sci fi movies just use every-day items as props. They sometimes even do it in big budget movies, like Qui-Gon talking to Obi Wan using a lady's razor.
Like I said , fun trash.
Space Nudity. I am game
Yea, but it's do not pass go, pay $200.
Definitely has a Star Wars and battlestar galactica vibes with space fight scenes. In the ship scenes more of the latter.
Very true!
Good one AL , pretty entertaining 👍
Thanks !
Glad you enjoyed it
This movie is still better written and acted than disney's acolyte.😅😅😅
Ouch!
Great Episode 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Glad yo0u liked it!
I could write a book about this one…wow…Leah’s a cutie, Doctor of running around in a disco era leotard with wings for shoulders…hangs around shaking her rear with disco hula hoopers? For real? Her real life hubby chases John Phillip Law around in bazooka equipt bump ‘‘em cars…shooting ping pong ball mini plastic bazookas and fending off the enemy with a propane tank weed burner…uh huh…sure…
Wait til you see this weeks completely different movie!
I love everything with John Philip Law in it...
I didn't know this movie existed, thanks for posting it 🙂 it's not the greatest movie of all times but who cares ?
That's right! Just love the movie for the actors!
I believe in marriage, just good luck with finding someone.
Another good time. 🎉
Thanks but I'm not looking, and neither is mother.
Did you know that this flick was made in a Bubblegum factory in Detroit . Put it no5 in my list of Never watch these movies again .😮😢😂❤ Thanks sci-fi playmates. Dave
Cool!
How did the producers of Battlestar not sue these people?
I'm guessing they paid for the shots.
BY 1988, Galactica had already come and gone, so the producers were probably grateful for cash.
@@obi-ron true!

Love those graphics!
Calgon, Take me away to a place that's an ancient chinese secret 😅
Now that's a old one!
48:27 Did they borrow those from Takeshi's Castle?
I think this was first but they may have been used...
Brief nudity ... and eternal stupidity! This was kind of a dumb movie, but you can't help having fun with it. Especially when the dead girl turns up at her station later in the movie. Man, that's dedication! 🤣
And at least they legitimately bought the rights to the Battlestar Galactica footage. So, they bought the rights to special effects from another Star Wars knockoff. Nice.
This was only slightly better than drive in fare. Almost makes you wish they had tried harder.
I'd rather forget the 80s...thanks alot...
Macs..shooting the Lazer guns in the ship...
Although drink and get laid...!
Only near the reactors!
Shouldn't that be Spofessor Prooner? Sadly the film is too dreadful to watch.
The Schlock is strong in this one.
@@Creature_Features I have enjoyed a few films in this genre, but there wasn't even enough campness to pull it along.
