    ➤What is Calibration?
Every speaker cabinet has its own characteristic impedance curve and frequency response, and these elements affect how the amplifier feeding it behaves. With a simple button press, the Cab Resonance feature calibrates the amp’s reactive output stage circuitry to match the unique properties of the connected cabinet.
Our proprietary process analyzes numerous elements, including the lowest frequency that the cabinet can produce, high-end resonances, and many other factors. With this information, advanced processing dynamically enhances the output to provide superior feel and response, powerful lows, and high-definition overall sound.
➤ Ideal companion cab: Katana Cabinet 112 Bass:
High-performance compact bass cabinet with a 12-inch woofer, tweeter, and 500-watt power capacity.

I've been nagging for a Bass Katana for years, and now it arrives just days after I've gotten myself another head. That's just my typical luck.

Interesting! Of course the suggested retail price is a bit steep. Hopefully they will come down a bit and I will consider one.

Where can you get a gigbag for this head? One is featured in this video but I can't seem to find one anywhere.

      That's a right quick judgment

It’s just a head. You can use whatever cab you want!

Great amp, but this video sounds more like a drum kit demo than a bass amp demo. Something in the mix process went terribly wrong.

Hmm. Not bad from what I heard so far. I wanna see more reviews or more ‘live’ situations using it. 500 watts? That’s more than enough for me.😕🎶🎸👍🏾

Class D watts Don't have the same punch and depth as other sources. 300 W SVT with blow it away in terms of volume. It seems like it made great tones though

I'll stick with my Markbass rig. It already outperforms this Boss unit, and I'm a massive fan of Boss in both my bass and my guitar setups. Been with Boss since 1979!!

Can we have a firmware update so the LEDS can be used as a Tuner?

WHY do you call it a 500-watt amp when it is only 250-watts rms? Not hardly powerful enough for many medium-sized venues with a 112. Maybe with a 210? The distortion sounds bad, which surprises me because you guys make such good effects pedals. And, although it's smart to plug it into something other than a 112, when you plugged it into that Ampeg 810 your sound became quiet and indistinct through my Bose headphones - very disappointing. That's even after you "calibrated" the head for the speaker resonance. There are plenty of "true" 500-watt rms Class D amps out there as well as 800-watt rms Class D amps. You can buy the Class D power sections from ICE although you have to tweak it to get decent headroom out of it. There are other options than ICE for Class D power too, ICE are just the folks most widely used as a basis. Even though I don't need it, I was hoping for better from BOSS.

This video left me rather confused... it's a bass amp right?
Where the heck is the bass?
Surely a bass amp should supply some bass to your bass tone... shouldn't it?

It's got features not all amps have, and has access to a decent Boss tone library via USB. I think its worth it.
