    I suggest whom ever is interested in this house to get an independent inspection and do your own due diligence, don't take what these people are telling as facts, they maybe correct but you need to do an independent analysis of the property, key word is independent.

    Realtor Adrian you brought some real expertise to this one....10 million to renovate on top of 24 million is a good price for that area. NEVER put a swimming pool in your front yard, or by the neighbors property line....

I’ve built and worked on renovating homes in Jamaica. And let me tell you those price are madness... but if you don’t believe me do your own research don’t just watch videos. Talk with constructors and people in the field.. Then come back here and let me know what they told you...

    Why is wiring or rewiring in Jamaica so expensive. You use a Uk electrician and they would not charge a quarter of the price, as well as all international standards, would be met.
    We know how to channel out wiring and plumbing.
    Why is the property so overpriced?

    Not all, most Jamaican developers are short-sighted, they only think of a house on a piece of land, what about sidewalk fire hydrant and adequate street lighting for the community?

    • @homeslicesja1138
      @homeslicesja1138 Před 3 lety +3

      My learned friend, it is not on a development to provide all of that unless its a gated community or a new built scheme, those are for the Govt. Agencies. Also this development may be just a regular man and the person got other opportunities elsewhere and decided to sell. Again He/she isn't responsible for building a sidewalk or other infrastructure you speak of. Should you have any other concerns regarding this infrastructure please give a the ministry of local govt. A call or parish council I'm sure they'll be happy to assist you in installing said infrastructure in your dream community at your cost when you are ready to build. 😉 Have a Good one 👍
