I'm 65 and stoned now while watching this. And I have to Agree with him. The stuff we get now is WAY BETTER than what we use to get. In the late 70's, I'd smoke an Ounce a week (cost about $25-30 an Oz). Now an Ounce last me almost a month. My Pain Management Dr. kept cutting me back during the "Opioid Crisis" and was charging as much each month per visit to get new prescriptions ( about $280.00 just for the Percocet, Oxycontin, Morphine , Lyrica) and Epidurals were extra. So I started smoking pot again (I still hurt, but I just didn't care.) After failing the drug test, he had a nurse tell me they can't have me as a patient anymore. SO LEGALIZE POT. PLEASE.

You can take a road trip from St. John's, NFL to Victoria, BC and smoke pot anywhere along the way (please don't drive stoned ;) ), you cannot take a road trip from Portland, Maine to San Diego, California, or form Key West, Florida to Seattle, Wash., and do the same (at least not yet). So you're still pretty limited in where you can smoke pot in the USA (I do know a number of states have legalized it, but the nation collectively has not).

When I was a young Marine, martial arts classes on base were so cheap, it was ludicrous not to take them. Since they conducted random drug tests, I rarely partook. The few times I did, I got really high. A few weeks before testing for my 1st black belt, I went to an off-base party where I smoked some. Another jar head I didn't know saw me and insulted me to my face. I smiled. After he left a couple friends from my unit asked why he was still able to walk. I merely smiled. For a long time the down-low joke around the unit was how marijuana saves lives.
I wish I came from a long line of pot smokers. Instead, I came from a long line of alcoholics, which is why life has been such a struggle. Fortunately, I have never done drugs, and have not had an alcoholic beverage since 1992. Yet, life is still a bitch to get through.

You can vote at age 18, you won't have to worry about being drafted at 18 as soon as you leave high school like me, and you won't be forced to fight a war in some far away country with a name I couldn't pronounce correctly. We did get campaign finance and transparency laws passed, but Republicans have watered it down so you are screwed there, but now it's up to the new generation to put it back! We marched in protest, ran for political office and made our voices heard, now follow our example and get busy! And,,I helped raise two great kids!
