- Jamaican-born Jaseth Bassaragh grew up poor, and set out to succeed financially so she could help others. She got a law degree, supported her mother, and put two nieces through college, even though her budget was tight. When she heard about tithing at church, she didn’t know how it would work, but gave it a try and saw God provide for her. A successful lawyer, real estate broker, and financial planner, she teaches others the importance of tithing.

Something I recently learned… “The love of money” is when we don’t follow the word in tithing or giving cheerfully because we have a fear that God won’t provide. We “love” the money in our hands or bank accounts so much that they trump the word of God that says we can test him in our giving and he will provide. Malachi 3. What is love? Patient and kind, so we are more patient with what we think the money can solve rather than surrendering to God’s will for our money which is to use it to glorify him and to help his kingdom. Just my humble observation, read the Bible and invite his divine revelation into your heart.
I have been tithing for past 1 year now and as a result k got a job in an ngo as a project coordinator it's a part time job till now but my boss tells me to make it full time I have always been wanting to work with an ngo and also looked for part time job so that I can concentrate on other things
I also wanted to start my own business I would like to share that in this year 2024 me and my mom have opened our own uniform business
Tithing really changes lives
Thank you, Lord, for the doors You've opened through faithful tithing. We pray for continued success in your job and business ventures, guided by God's wisdom and provision.
@@700ClubInteractivethank you for your best wishes
Amen, this is so true, give and its given unto you, truly we have never looked back.
Amen dear sister!
Thank you Father 😊
Glory to God for His divine intervention and rich mercy. }
Oh wow! Great story. Your niece attends my past high school...Bishop Gibson High in Mandeville. This touches my heart since my story is similar. God bless you, Jaseth!
I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST WHICH STRENGTHENS ME
PHIL 4:13
Congratulations Queen. This is encouragement. God bless you all children of God!
W're glad that her testimony has blessed you! }
Praise God! What a powerful testimony of God's awesomeness when we trust Him.
Amen. Thank you God for tithe testimony. Thank you CBN. Peace of God be with you all.
May God give you guidance and blessings!
Very inspiring
Praise the Lord!
Bible says be a cheerful giver. If not what's the use. Jesus gave himself cheerfully for us
Amen! Let's continuously cheerfully give!
Wow love you God I will 💙👍👍👍👍
Such encouraging testimony
We're so glad to be an encouragement to you, Yaa! God bless you!
Tithing works I am a witness of this
Wow! Thank you so much for sharing this. If we put God first and honor Him even through our finances, He will surely open the windows of heaven and pour out His blessing upon us. }
So beautiful, great testimony
Thank you for visiting the page today.
It is best to tithe 10 per cent before taxation :)
If you so choose. There's no biblical mandate for anyone to tithe today at all.
Praise the Lord God Jesus Christ Ameen
It is technically impossible to give a biblical tithe today. We can only give freewill offerings to local churches, widows, orphas and the poor, NOT a tithe.
Remember the tithe was an inheritance of the tribe of Levi since they did not receive a portion of the land and had other duties to perform. “Behold, I have given the children of Levi all the tithes in Israel as an inheritance in return for the work which they perform, the work of the tabernacle of meeting" (Numbers 18:21).
•So when was this inheritance transferred to your local church pastor?
•When did the tithe stop being a means of supporting the Levites?
•And are modern pastors from the tribe of Levi?
Who or what is provided the good things people testify about after they gave their tithe?
many many people that i know including myself ha e seen and continually see the different results of tithing vs when we were not tithing,
I do understand your explanation very well and it's correct but dont we think God continues to bless the ones who tithe and the ones who don't tithe in the new testament
@@Champ_SamaritanI’ve seen it too
I did ask a question I did not get an answer an important one.
❤ May I know whats the name of the featured person
Why does this promise not manifest for all us who tithe faithfully?
Let us keep giving faithfully. The Lord's Word shall accomplish His purposes in our lives. We thank Him for the greatest reward is Jesus, His Son. May you experience abundant blessing as you remain in Him.'
@@700ClubInteractive yes, but the only version of this promise in the Word that the 700 Club ever posts are ones where the person grows financially rich. It’s also what happened to Abraham, and I hear people say that Jesus was rich because of the provisions made by the women who supported him and the man who provided the upper room space. I don’t have enough revelation on the passage in Malachi to know how to interpret it - I’m just saying the Christian media all seem to interpret it financially. Still learning here….
@@grafxgrl8030 There's no such thing as a biblical tithe received from earned wages although it's evident money was widely traded and money was earned during those times. The Prosperity Gospel is nonsense but yes, we should give as we're able and as we feel directed. Abram (later re-named Abraham) was prosperous before he submitted his honorarium to Melchizedek and there's no biblical evidence he ever "tithed" again.
@@markb7067 interesting! Thank you.
Almost, 700 Club. The old bait n switch.
Giving is good, but the Bible doesn’t tell Christians to tide. Tiding was a part of the law and it was not about money. But greedy preachers tell Christians to tide.
You don’t know the Bible that well,
It does. Find it yourself since you are so filled with doubt. FOOL!!!
@@bubbathebulldog3809 Nice answer sister. By the way, didn’t Jesus say something about calling other people a fool?
The principles of tithing is the point that they’re trying to make here. And some people do use the term interchangeably for offering. There is always a blessing attached to our giving. When I worked full time I gave a tenth as a principle and also to give myself some structure where that was at least the minimum and would give some extra as I felt led. And God did bless me, not just financially, but even more.
Be blessed. 🙏🏾
@@finallyanaccount I agree with you. It’s a great blessing to give. But not because your pastor told you to give 10% to his church. I have seen horrible videos where they say that those christians that don’t tide, end up in cages in heaven, like those used for chickens.
I one had a book about tiding where the author said that you had to calculate all income though your life, so far. And if you hadn’t given 10% of this as tiding, you owed God this money.
@@biaberg3448 Oh wow.
so we have to give God money for God to love us to provide than this is conditional love not unconditional love . They have never answered me such question, This 700 CLub would not pay tithes since they don't work and no work is a sin, they live off people's money. They are hypocrites,
We are sorry to hear about your thoughts about how our ministry works, friend. We exist to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ to all four corners of the earth via media evangelism, children animation and humanitarian aid. These are all our works as mandated by the Lord.
We would like to invite you to check the following from our website:
- CBN Mission Statement: www2.cbn.com/article/jesus/cbns-mission-statement
- CBN Financials (Financial Statement) for transparency and accountability: www2.cbn.com/lp/cbn-financials
We hope that you could bless our ministry works by covering us in prayer that we may continue to share Jesus to many. The love of Christ is unconditional for while we were still sinners, He died for us (Romans 5:8). May we all give out of cheerful hearts and trust in the Lord that He is expanding His Kingdom while perfecting our faith. Have a blessed day!'
@@700ClubInteractive This is not a true answer , is misleading again. Is not 700 club ministry that is of credit media, , children animation and humanitarian aid. etc. God commanded for all to spread the word , is not just a special christian ministry as you described it , is what God commanded for all!! . How does the ministers support themselves and family and the people help the ministry? do you work , employment or anyone from ministry ? do you pay tithes and is it from your own work paid finances ?
