I went to this today, just got home, let me tell ya, the best race I’ve seen in such a long time!!! I couldn’t believe how many people were there and on top of that! The energy was amazing!!! Go Kyle Larson!!!
I was there too man !! It probably tops the 2013 auto club 400 as the best race ever ! They need to keep this layout !
I was in section 45. This was an awesome race. Most definitely the best auto club speedway race. Period.
Just an amazing display of racing for larson .. poor elliot got blocked.. larsons like , son i was taught that below first place is unacceptable lol .
From what I saw watching the race, it was not a packed stand's like they were saying to the viewers. We have eyes and can see for ourselves.

I'd like to see NASCAR run the road course at Vegas some time, I saw a GT4 race there that was pretty good.
yeah but when you blow a tire easily and get stuck on the track that shouldn’t happen. so a work in progress to say the least

@@GoatedAtNFS having a flat tire and getting stuck is not a new thing. It's like driving the car without the tread on it. Tough to move the car when you're stopped. Gotta keep it rolling.

THe durability of these cars are something else. Seems like last gen if you even touched a wall half your shell was coming off.
Allows for more bumping and racing.
Yes rubber bodies this year as the Xfinity bodies had last year eliminates cut tires, compared to the steel bodies from the past

@@douglashurd8652 he wasn’t trying to block. He was getting an arch in the corner to side draft Logano and wasn’t paying attention to his rear view because he thought he was clear.

As a kid of the early 2000's its always awesome seeing the 3 or the 8 at the top the leader board.
Ryan Blaney’s pit crew screwed him today. That was the worst performance I’ve seen from a pit crew in a long time.
Not only did he lose every time off pit road. Not only did he never maintain one position. He lost 5 / 10 spots off pit road every time. Last pit on caution was running 5th with 8 laps to go and falls back to 17th. Pathetic pit crew performance.
He got screwed all day by his own team just like last week when Cindric boxed him out. He and Logano were making the inside work so well on the turns and Cindric kept pinning Blaney outside whenever they were with each other.
Huge credit to Erik Jones it seems that he never shied away from the Top 10 and a got a deserved top 3 finish, Reddick too he had such a good race until the tire incident.
That last past was INSANE
Larson is my favorite, so seeing him win SO MANY TIMES makes me ecstatic.

Cliff Daniels is becoming a force to be reckoned with.
I don’t know what Daniel was thinking. He took the low line going into 3&4 when he was the leader which killed his momentum coming out of the corner. Nonetheless he had a great run
Exactly. I don’t know if he would of had that won even if he took the top, but he would have had a much higher chance of winning.
This was the first race I have enjoyed at this track in a long time. Drivers caught on pretty quick on how and where to get runs on other cars. Fun chess match.
The battles between Larson and Logano were great

lets talk about kyle busch, with the help of those many cautions and the perseverance he was laps down, like 5 or 6 laps and came back to 14th place, thats great driving right there

Larson just out-races most drivers. He makes these races fun no doubt. After the 14 and 24 got together Kyle told Cliff so now I guess it's going to be any body's race and Cliff said yeah it might as well be us. Well guess what
95% incidents and crashes, 5% racing. Great coverage there NASCAR on Fox.
It seems to me that Goodyear has some work to do on those tires.
I feel bad for Reddick. If he was in a better car, he could be doing this weekly. Winning stages, and not getting burned by lady luck

43 car hung in there all day. Maybe good things to come.
The NextGen car certainly isnt perfect. But this was a very fun race to watch. Love seeing cars like the 43 and 8 lead lots of laps today

Same very intrigued to see how Danica does next weekend, I hope she does well, both Tony and Kenseth did awesome, Mark Martin did good for the few minutes he spent there today. So I hope maybe he could come in the booth for a race or two on the FOX schedule, Carl Edwards is another guy we haven't seen in years who I think he'd do pretty decent up there.

That was the best race I have ever been too. Woulda loved to see redick to win. Kinda don’t think Larson deserved that win with his block but it’s whatever. Told my parents it was gonna be one of the Hendricks motor sports for the win. What a fun race!!! Close end tho so it was fun still!! Haha it was actually fun seeing some spins this year
It was a good race! Larson’s spotter didn’t inform him of Chase’s presence, and he was aggressively bump drafting logano. I think it’s on the spotter, wasn’t a block

Can someone explain to a NASCAR newbie (me) why Larson would wall his own teammate with 21 laps to go??
It was a racing incident. Everything is happening so fast. Just a reaction to block and was just a tad bit too late. I'm sure they will sit down and talk it out. Chase Elliott has every right to be mad but that's just racing. Elliott fans out there will disagree but that's exactly what it was.

I think that's why people like it. One of the goals for the new car was to make them harder to drive. It adds parody and a sense of Unpredictability now. I'm an old schooler also so I kind of like clean racing but I can also appreciate the unpredictability.

It wasn’t a block though. His spotter never told Larson Elliot was there. So he came up to get momentum. It sucks, but it happens.

That's why it's cslled auto racing . Larson came from the back and won . Simply drove to win . The down low pass was a gem .

That was kind of strange why Kyle Busch was so calm when his car spun.
I feel like he's been calming down and growing up a little. Kurt used to be the same and now he's like this really respectable well spoken guy. I'm not going to lie I've noticed the same thing this past year and I'm a little bit impressed . Can't say I hate him like I used to. He's a lot more likeable when he's not crying
