    Goodday.Thankyou for posting this info.i have an '86 shadow 1100.developed an electrical issue with the 10 amp ignition fuse keeps blowing as soon as i turn on the kill switch.the bike wont power up.i have sent the icm into the local honda dealer for testing.Just wondering if You have ever come accross a similar issue.any help would be appreciated in my dignostics.

      Unfortunately my 750 was destroyed last February so I don't have the information. I use Babbits on line for my parts numbers.....year, make, model....then I Google the part number for best price and oem quality

    Would it crank and crank then act like the battery was dead?

      There was no power going anywhere to the bike, no headlight or starter so it did not roll over.

      You could have internal damage to the starter solenoid relay that is causing a short. I also had to replace the rectifier as it was allowing inconsistent voltage and at time dumping to much and heating wires
      Also check wiring coming from the stator. This connection is under the seat and is common to melt and short out.
