- unleashed.tv | It's easy to forget that Ol' Swampy started as your basic stock standard Toyota Hilux... a far cry from the swimming swamper it is today! And the ideas for improvement keep coming!
These guys deserve Australians of the year 👍🏻🇦🇺
1 major flaw... you can’t take t through drive thru
Pop a bag out in the water and that would be a bit scary. Redundacy system woudnt go astray.
Have you guys considered fitting paddles to the floaties? Bit like the sand rail/dune buggies they have in the states. Then you won't need an outboard...
Top Gear failed twice at this 😂😂😂
Top Gear failed twice at this because they never did it in crock infested waters
That's why they invented planes, helicopters, and hovercraft... in case you forgot.
Wow! They just invented a float kit for 4wd.
And you won't break anything cause the hilux couldn't pull the skin of a rice pudding .
The idea for wheel airbags on Swampy is great but you need more buoyancy on the front end. I'm no expert in floatation but the front needs some sort of floatation device that is about as long and wide as the treebar or bull bar to keep the weight even. Remember that the front has the engine, bullbar, treebar, front winch and front drive train. Other than that, great design fellas. Your level of physics is beyond reproach 😂
Love how jase doesn’t tell Simon what’s going on till the last minute and Simon is up for it every time
How much fun do they have!
Cool ass truck mate! I'd love to spend several months in the outback just off-roading and exploring.
I see you've played swampy, floaty before!
An upgrade series for Swampy is a must
Holy you guys are awesome, great video. Makes me want to move to Australia with rest of my family
Awesome Jase, love both all4 and unleashed. Hope you have massive success in the USA given you were at SEMA last year.
Keep the tyre bags and add the side bags for a back up plan. Awesome adventure rig though.
Try it in the creek I live on. Dozens of 4m crocs waiting to nibble on those floats
Little bit bigger bags with hard plastic fins around would make it pattle steer better
