In case anyone is wondering about all the RIP comments - Marzocchi has been closed in 2015 but nowadays it is back in action except the new owner is FOX. The previous and original owner has moved to supply vehicle manufacturers with air suspension and other products.
It is un real where the technology has gone. I used to ride tons in my late teens and twenty’s. got away from it for ten years and this is my first summer back.just unreal where the bikes have gotten to since I’ve been gone
Just the performance was fine back then. Ass long you instaled the right springs for your weight. The true advantages are stiffness, weight, geo plus overall size (tyres, rims, bars etc) for more control.

Kudos for doing it all on the old suspension, modern suspension kicks ass compared to that.
