David’s melancholic husky voice really adds colors to this song
One of their MOST underrated songs! Masterpiece...
I'm not the biggest Floyd ever, but I agree. I also love Hubert Laws' cover.
I could not agree more....love it.
@Fenderking I would be 1st in line to see that show.
I love how they always took the opportunity to throw the Who theme in as an easter egg.
Are you crazy or deaf ? This is pure crap.. And I have been a Pink Floyd lover for 50 years
The moment at 4:15 where Dave tunes Rog's G string is pure emotion to me. EPIC.
EPIC
Good catch. That's hilarious. You can see David Gilmour kinda grinning when he comes over.
I live for that grin 😊
@Andrea Moonlight yeah I think he was busy hitting the chord so he just had David tune it for him
@@calebbrownlow5974 hmmm not sure about that. Waters was not great musically. his legend status was always about his ahead of it's time vision and his lyrics.
That voice rise at 2:23 is chill-inducing, then there's the epic guitar solo soon after 🤩
God, the emotion Gilmour put into both his singing and guitar playing...
71-75 is probably peak Pink Floyd although I enjoy all their work that’s when they were working together the best
0:22 Rick is cooking space pasta
Amazing to see him operate the quadraphonic sound.
ahahah lovely
😂👍
Yes!
This is one of the best comments I've ever read 🤣
Who else is addicted to Pink Floyd
Anyone who knows Pink Floyd
Listened to them almost everyday for 40+ years, but never addicted 😮🤣
Me! So long time!
me
Right here. Majorly.
The French really loved Pink Floyd, it’s so warming to see how gracious they were to them.
I live in France (I'm Vietnamese) and am married with a French man. I remember 7 years ago when I've juste got married, my husband went away for work. I stayed home alone and I tried to repaint our house's interior while listening to Pink Floyd. My parents-in-law came to visit me and they were very surprised to know that I love Pink Floyd. That's their favourite band too. They think that a girl come from a communist country like me doesn't know anything about the music of ''the west".
One of my favourite Floyd songs. Very under-rated.
Oh and David looks exceptionally gorgeous in the church lights.
Doesn’t he though?
@@audreyplunkett6111 Maddeningly beautiful
He's an ANGEL!
Pink Floyd is my favourite group, and my life!
Воистину
@@pozhiloy_kinchev Thank you,my friend!You understand me!
I think one of the reasons I love David Gilmour so much is that you just don’t expect that voice to come out of that face. I adore his voice more than most things in this world, and his face is a close second. Long live Pink Floyd 💚🤘🏻🎸✨🤯
It’s a beautiful face
David's voice and guitar playing is beyond this universe❤️
Pink Floyd has gotten me through my toughest times. I rely on this music to channel good vibes and reset.
Couldn't agree more 🙂
yeh...
You & me both, internet friend... PF fucking rocks
Nice. My favorite PF song. Good to see Rick getting the screen time that he deserved. During this time Roger was the creative writing force, but no one could have pulled it off without Rick. His atmospheric aesthetic was the wallpaper in the rooms created by their music during this period. The other sounds were like pictures on the wall in a haunted house. Long live the true soul of Pink Floyd. And long live the azimuth coordinator!
That's why I love CZcams because I can watch videos from 50 years ago whenever I want.
That voice and his looks are unbelievable.❤
Me me me me. Floyd lover from now to eternity This is so fresh and not a piece of studio perfection
Pink floyd in a church, the true religion where I would surely go 💪
Wonder what SNL’s church lady would have thought of a psychedelic rock band in a church
every Sunday...............works for me too
My kinda religion.
Wow. What great quality of the video. You can see every hair on David's beautiful head.
Oh my goooooooood David's voice is so beautiful here
He’s ethereal
Not just his voice, David is beautiful here.
David Gilmour is a gorgeous masterpiece inside and out. We are blessed that he is alive 🤍💚
@@midnite_rambler he is the most gorgeous
Gilmour voice is beautiful ever
they were the greatest band of all time
I saw them live right around 1971 in Cincinnati. It was a stunning performance and this video closely resembles my recollection of that concert.
Sitting here in front of the fire, glass of wine to hand, knitting a DSOTM sweater and watching my beautiful boys play one of my favourite tracks. Floyd is life.
You are life, Alison. Keeping the spirit alive.
A E S T H E T I C
What a great track.
Fuck yes!
👍👍👍👈
This song has been living in my head rent-free for the past few days, and I’m not mad about it. ❤️
Omg. After so many years of being a pink floyd fan, this is the first time I have seen a singer looking this freaking good. ❤ I would definitely be a fan in '70.
More has some amazing songs. This, Green Is The Color, Ibiza Bar, The Nile Song and Cirrus Minor are amazing. Thank you Pink Floyd for uploading these one of a kind performances.
An underrated album, Lazar.
I feel that More has slipped between the cracks of the various Floyd fandoms but it's one of my favorite albums from them. Love it.
Cirrus minor is an amazing song. I always skipped over it for some reason. Until one day i ate some magic shrooms. And what a trip it was. The way the organ comes in and sounds line his voice is melting is fantastic.
I think the tracks you listed are all of my favorites from More, it's such an underrated album.
I was into more and umma gumma a lot in 77 and later.Iwas 15.Trippy times. Some songs still scare me like Careful with that axe eugene.
I don't know why, but everytime I see pink floyd perform after Syd's departure but before DSOTM, it feels so mystical...
Because it is
So incredibly true, always soaring into the mystic,at that time
The period from about 68 to 73 is so artistic, after that it still was but they had gained more widespread popularity
Indeed
I have the same feeling their most "astmospherical" period and their best to me.
@@hippiecheezburger5457 I will always prefer that era and the Syd era, before.
Gilmour tuning Roger's bass while he's playing it! Wow. Amazing. 4:12.
yeah, so good:)
An old favorite of mine, and a beautiful rendition. I miss Rick Wright and his ethereal keyboards.
4:15 David tuning Roger's bass. And life is getting better.
That's because Roger couldn't tune guitar by himself.
...for years it was customary
That was awesome lol! How did Roger (who to my understanding is extremely meticulous about sound) not hear that? Ear fatigue from playing for a continuous amount of time, being in the moment?
@@lifetimewc I don't think it's an ear fatigue. Bass sounds are very difficult for most people to hear, I think Roger can't be sensitive when hearing bass sounds. He tries to tune the bass in a few jamming videos, but he can't and laughs and tells the band to stop. I thought it was very strange too.
@@lifetimewc naaah, just that was just high tone part of song on bass, and then everybody realised that it is not correct, because high notes you hear clearier. It was Waters part, so Gilmour helped :)
I love the music, but... can't help and say that Gilmour was to die for, what a beautiful man, holy shit...
YES 💖
He's incredibly handsome! I have a soft spot for Rick Wright, though. He was gorgeous!
@@kristlepickles Totally agree, Rick was very cute indeed... I think all of them were very attractive actually lol. But my biggest crush is on Syd Barrett haha
La banda más grande que a pisado este mundo . Pink Floyd ❤️❤️
Damn, David voice is everything
So dreamy sigh
Absolutely fantastic, thank you Pink Floyd!
David's hair! Magnificent
Master Drumplayer Nick, I can't thank you enough.
David Gilmour has been SO cool for SO long.
And so effortlessly gorgeous to boot
Gilmours voice. That graspy high toned voice is prestigious
WHY IS DAVID SO PRETTY AAAAAAAAAAAHHH
I’m right there with ya it’s unbelievable
Utterly gorgeous
He was a babe back then! Still good looking in his 70's. Rick wasn't bad looking either btw.
@@marymargaretmoore9034 Rick had those english teeth, though lol
Great to see this in such a fantastic quality
Really appreciating the intergalactic quality of these films. It’s like watching an elaborate reconstruction from 2020 rather than original footage from half a century ago
The film quality is like it was recorded yesterday.
Ver
Not really, Film is very quality when taken care of. It's higher quality than 4-8K really.

@@xxEzraBxxx No. Digital film cameras can already surpass Film in terms of resolution and dynamic range. It all comes down to the sensor. Film just gives you a look that is very hard to replicate when shooting digital and its very respected among filmmakers.
Only wish we had footage from the 70s-80s
Early pre dark side Floyd is everything I ever wanted, and didn’t know I needed 🤝
I've been obsessed with this song, and specifically this filmed version, for years. It's an entire mood. 💕thank you
I just float when I hear Pink Floyd
my favorite song of the Pink Floyd!
Brasil love you, Floyd!
David was pretty af. He's like an angel. What a beautiful man.
Maravillosos. No me canso de escuchar Pink Floyd.
"You can trust us" - David Gilmour.
for sure we can^
Sure more heroin
That creepy smile when he says it sells it. 😆
@@simon-di7xt no,mandrax maybe.definitely no heroin.
I believe him lol
I was still in high school and Pink Floyd took me even higher.
Pink Floyd is the best band of all times
Este pink floyd nunca lo volvimos a ver. Pará mí fueron sus mejores años
I absolutely love cymbaline, thank you for posting old 70s Floyd again. This is a beautiful performance. It’s a song about a nightmare!
One of the best songs from early FLOYD. 👌
hello hello pink floyd
That was fantastic. One of my all time fave Floyd songs
The most amazing concert I’ve ever seen was Pink Floyd!! This footage is incredible 🤘🤘
Nick Mason is an absolutely phenomenal drummer.
The best notification I could get from my all time favorite band 😌
Просто фантастика, играют шедеврально. Все произведения у них гениальные.
There is a lot of great work from that era of Pink Floyd that gets so overlooked. Everyone focuses either on the Syd material or Dark side and Wish you were here or they argue the points between the wall and the subsequent Momentary lapse and division Bell. That stretch of time from Saucer full of secrets, Meddle, and the sound tracks they did has some incredible moments. I choose to listen to all these different phases of Pink Floyd for their own merits. I don't compare or judge any of it against any of it. I have favorites from across the Floyd continuum
Gilmour and that’s enough 🎸🥂❤️
Forever
I love every single song of this guys!
Even “Several Species Of Small Furry Animals Gathered Together In a Cave And Grooving With A Pict”?
@@asloii_1749 Actually, Im afraid of this one 😂haha
@@asloii_1749 One of my favourites. So off-the-wall weird it is awesome.
Life was better...PF makes our lives better.
I love this period of Pink Floyd. The album More has such a unique vibe. I’ve really grown to love it.
When I was a kid I would fall asleep listening to it every night, until my parents took my tape player away from me.
Exactly. I love More more and more. And it's quite unique album cause it contains most heavy hard rock Floyd tunes
Mis respetos no hay ni habra otra banda como estos maestros
PINK FLOYD. ...the best band.ever....medicine for my soul...everyday......
The greatest band of all times
Hello from Montreal, Quebec,Canada to Pink Floyd fans 💞🎶🎤😍👋
I wish I was sitting there watching !!
Check out Gilmour''s tone during the solo! Unbelievable video quality too! ♥️♥️♥️
Haha! Love when Gilmour walks over to tune Rogers bass.
I'm addicted to this song thanks pf
4:15 David tuning Roger's bass guitar
Jesus is a lucky man ... He was at a Pink Floyd concert.
Indeed
Isn"t he the guitarrist?
@@takefive6692 Aha😂😂😂
😂❤️❤️❤️❤️
Myth Man...
Whats a kind of song, unique feeling, just WOOW.. that's main reason we love pink floyd..
The greatness and spirit of Barrett carried with them for a few years. But was lost as the ego came to the fore, and pushed Richard Wright into the background.
I love this song, really i love this amazing song. One of my favorites songs by Pink Floyd
*This video is a GEM*
I still see Pink Floyd this way.❤
Pink Floyd intramontabili, grazie delle tante emozioni che mi avete regalato.
Pink Floyd , i'm in love

Such a great era of PF, imagine watching that remebering being at this gig, so jealous
Really love the smooth transition (little solo) Roger makes just after Dave tunes his bass. Epic song in epic place
This and Echoes are such preternaturally intense, disquieting songs. David Gilmour, aside from his genius as a vocalist & musician, is just absurdly beautiful, which somehow fits the otherworldliness of this performance (and Echoes Live at Pompeii).
Masterpiece!!! Sublime! Thank you so much Pink Floyd, always in my heart 💙🔝
I love Pink Floyd more than words can illuminate ❤️🤯💥
3:02 this solo is amazing
Pink Floyd на всегда лучшая группа,каждый из участников это лучшие
My favourite time off the Floyd's life
Incredible footage!
This genuinely looks like a movie scene.
I'm just happy to finally see some way older film/video that looks crystal clear💙💙💙 Love Pink Floyd🥰🥰
Brilliant....love it....More please!
The path you tread is narrow
And the drop is shear and very high
The ravens all are watching
From a vantage point nearby
Apprehension creeping
Like a tube-train up your spine
Will the tightrope reach the end
Will the final couplet rhyme
And it's high time
Cymbaline
It's high time
Cymbaline
Please wake me
A butterfly with broken wings
Is falling by your side
The ravens all are closing in
And there's nowhere you can hide
Your manager and agent
Are both busy on the phone
Selling coloured photographs
To magazines back home
And it's high time
Cymbaline
It's high time
Cymbaline
Please wake me
The lines converging where you stand
They must have moved the picture plane
The leaves are heavy around your feet
You hear the thunder of the train
And suddenly it strikes you
That they're moving into range
Doctor Strange is always changing size
And it's high time
Cymbaline
It's high time
Cymbaline
Please wake me
And it's high time
Cymbaline
It's high time
Cymbaline
Please wake me
Thank you very much. I was looking for the lycris...
Absolutely brilliant footage of this amazing track .
Such a great performance by the band. A superior recording from my favorite time period of the band. I can even overlook the lost camera man. Thank You for this.
Great song
Magnifique...
Que buena cancion y que buena presentacion, esta banda en vivo es increible, grande Pink Floyd
I love this kind of version
Que vídeo top, nunca tinha visto essa apresentação antes. Pink Floyd e tudo de bom.
