Just ran into this channel, even tho I live abroad for 10 years it's nice to realise the great things about my city/country. Never realised as a kid.
At 9:25 the greenish yellow looking building actually still has bullet holes and bullet marks from the time of the Revolution that happened in 89. I was there this summer and after this many years they still didn't fix the building up.

Timisoreana beer has it's brewery i Timisoara( guess the name says it). Maybe next time you can do a tour of the brewery and have some mici&bere there ;)
9:54 The monument is for the people that died in that square. The 89 revolution started in Timisoara in that square and people were shot by the army on those spots and on the steps of the church.

When do you plan to visit the Eastern part of Romania? Iasi city and Suceava, Neamt and Bacau county has a lot of beautiful places to explore. Also Galati, Botosani, Vaslui and Vrancea counties. You should start with the city of Iasi.
They said in a different video that next year they are planning Part 2 and will probably go to those areas also :)

The only good city there is Suceava ( whole Bucovina actually ) and maybe Iasi, the rest are literally dumpsters.

5:20 Are you for real? 😂That's actually one aspect I hate about our country, how unkept the cities and villages are. Our cities are far from the level of tidiness and cleanliness of the cities in Switzerland, Austria or even Poland and Hungary. You even have an example in this video, the hanging cables everywhere and the crumbing building at 3:42 . I personally hate those cables with a passion but our mayors in Romania don't want to get rid of them.
Point received, but buddy you're comparing a Romanian city with Switzerland and Austria, those countries are like the pinnacle of best places on the planet, other than that the city looked pretty good to me.

In Sibiu you had bad luck. The time of the year and the weather was one of the worst, with almost no tourists and few locals. Bear in mind that the locals are not always very knowledgeable of tourist attractions in their own town, or the history of it. Most of them know just what it fits them or helps them in their daily lives. And this applies not only to Sibiu, but to all cities and towns in Romania and, I suppose, the world.
So give Sibiu another try, only in summer, or anytime when you see the weather is not bad, and not on Mondays (most museums here are closed on Mondays, for example).

Cool, however, It’s a bit irritating to see you wasting your time in timisoara, timisoara is called mica vienna for a reason, you haven’t been to the river or one of the countless parks and nature there ! Nor have you visited any attractions, museum or streets, brewery and more. Consider a second visit !
