"A Visit From Grandmother" is a tale about the bond that people can share, a bond stronger than our earthly presence, and how the human spirit will sometimes reach out from beyond the grave. I have personally heard stories of this legend, maybe more of a ghost story, so I wrote this story to reflect those accounts in a dramatic way. I hope that you enjoy this video, it isn't scary as much as it is emotional, and full of symbolism. Thanks for watching.

In Kurosawa's 'Ugetsu,' the mother comes back every night to love and care for her little child. Ghosts are not always malevolent; sometimes especially in Japanese legend they have unfinished business involving a child or an elderly parent.
