I am from IL and when I lived there spent a lot of time in Chicago, love seeing it. Also I have gas stove envy 😀😀😀 My folks still live there and I would move back if it were not for the taxes both property and income.
Uniqlo has definitely gotten bigger with their sizing year after year. I used to be an XL when I first shopped there years ago and now I’m a medium or even small (in their oversized stuff)

Does feel like Uniqlo is quietly making Oversized their default style. You have to dig around to find regular fit t-shirts there now.

I've always had to size down from Medium in uniqlo, im like a medium in all other american brands

I would check the measurements on the website. I'm sure they are all different. I have a 33 in both my pants and they seem to fit true to size
