I'm currently staying in an area of Philly called " the badlands" because my brother had surgery at Temple, no one hangs out on the sidewalks after dark ( unless they are doing business) i noticed in this video when you rolled through Philly not one group was out hanging on the side streets or alleys. There's definitely a reason for that. I was warned by the hospital security staff that its not safe to walk after dark. It also took me an hour to find an uber willing to take me back to where I'm staying because it was after midnight by the time his surgery was done.
Thanks for saving me the long comment. Spot on it's a reason why you don't see people hanging on the side streets. You can't hang out on the streets in Philly like some of these other hoods on the list.

Ayo, I'm black and I'd be uncomfortable driving through these spots. Honestly nothing will happen if your just driving through but the discomfort comes from seeing fellow black folks that didn't "make it out" and accepted this as their life. "Making it out the hood" truly is an obstacle for a good amount of folk.
Well for me the discomforting part is not the fact that they aren't actively not trying to make it out, it's the fact that there is a system in place to keep them in which is the discomforting part.
