Great project..!!! Here's a tip, To carry heavy load, you can try changing the propellers, and also those motors to new high capacity ones while still connected to DJI controller, add an additional battery pack separately connected to drive those motor.
Or you could just buy hobby grade stuff and lift whatever you like, possibly even yourself.

I've worked with foam patterns that were used to make fibre glass molds before. The method we used to prevent the patterns from being dissolved by our resin was to repeatedly coat the foam in layers of elmers glue that we thinned out with some water so that we could air brush it on. One guy on our team was smart enough to dye the glue different colors just to assist visually.

Being as you brought up, mentioned and hammered on the concept, problem of, necessity for and dire need for STRENGTH between objects, materials and parts LIKE IT WAS IMPORTANT...do a CZcams search for "Bondic liquid plastic welder..." and then add on (separately in turn) the last words "review", "test", "ad", "instructions" and so on.

For the bottom view, just cut a small hole in the bottom of the cooler, put a clear plexiglass disc over the hole (maybe use silicone sealant to attach it?) and put the camera pointing down through the hole/plexi.

This tech would be great for food delivery services during the pandemic. The only drawback would be ground safety and whether drone pirates could hack the drone and land it to steal its contents.

I'm a former auto tech (started working on my own shitboxes and then moved into performance-only). ...to the point... I was going to try this project !!! (I have a p4p but also have a p3s AND a p2v (which is broken) from my university lab.
I have been wanting to use the NAZA controller out of the P2V (can easily be "hacked" to allow all naza features, the central board is dead) to build something like this.. AMAZING F'N AWESOME DUDE!
now that i know someone built my flying cooler idea .... two years ago... I think i want to try as similar idea but somehow convert to an amphibious "rover/boat"
I'm heavy into DJI "hacking" -- there are easy ways to get around using stock batteries. (and ways to use 4s setup with ph2/ph3!!)
I may have missed it, but you need to absolutely INSULATE/SHIELD the gps... it's a big issue with phantoms... we can even upgrade to a better GPS unit fairly easily (it looks like you have PH4 props on your p3s setup?)
The end goal of all this electric tinkering is ... figuring out what makes electric vehicles work well during this transition to all-electric automobiles that, aside from the petrol engine noises I'll always be extremely fond of, the electric is objectively "better" in almost every way. Almost feels like we've been held back sometimes when i work on all these quadcopters/fixed wing crafts / electric scooters/ bikes/etc.

Here's an idea. If a cooler gets drone propellers, it will need more than four. Like about as many as the TF-19 flamethrower drone. Though you might want to talk in a meeting with the FAA themselves for permission regarding the manufacturing, sales, and distribution of cooler drones.

I think this drone can be a huge aid, if you redesign properly with stronger and lighter materials. Carbon fiber container w peltier cooling with enough batteries to be remotely controlled, and i can imagine this as huge aid with some blood/plasma sacks, and analytic medical equipment that needs cooling/to be kept cool/sterile or fast delivery for doctors who are using motocycles to reach the event place. Many times this can be lifesaver. IF you can manage to fly about 5 hours straight, docking, w load/unload mechanics, approx with total load of 8 kg of pure load - you can be a hero.
