    OMG!
    0:31 - There’s a real blast from the past!
Peter Sullen Channel Ten Eyewitness News Reporter in the early to mid 1990s.
Met him when I was a kid.
Something nasty happened to myself and a friend of mine when were kids at school. Because of the seriousness of it, our parents wanted to go to the media over it but at the time, the laws surrounding such broadcasts were very prohibitive and restrictive.
Somehow, Channel Ten News Adelaide’s team of lawyers found a legal loophole and Peter Sullen was quick to jump on that loophole.
I’ll never forget after the interview with our parents on my Mum’s front lawn and filming a bit at the school in question, we all returned to my Mum’s house and while they were packing up, Peter Sullen rang his bosses at Channel Ten to say they were heading back to the office only to learn that due to the seriousness of what had happened - “Second Lead In story TONIGHT!” 😳
This was like about 1:30pm in the afternoon with the news due to go on air at 5pm.
The first story was a carry over continuation from the night before, otherwise we would’ve been first up on the news that night.
He was very nice, very patient (😬) and very, very professional.
