  • The Hirosaki Castle tower was built in the early Edo period. However, it was burnt down ten years later. For the next 200 years, the castle did not have a castle tower. Today, the castle tower, which was rebuilt in the late Edo period, as well as castles and buildings such as moats and earthworks, still retain traces of the past. In spring, when these cherry blossoms collaborate with 2,600 cherry blossom trees, the castle grounds are filled with joy (one of Japan's top three cherry blossom viewing spots). In the video, the castle tower, cherry blossoms, moat and cherry blossoms are illuminated to further enhance their beauty! Learn about, see, and experience the wonderful time when one of the 12 existing castle towers and beautiful cherry blossoms co-exist!
