Arriving in Italy

I have safely arrived in Italy and will be quarantined for two weeks now. School starts on January 18th, which I am super excited about! My schedule is a lot less hectic this semester because I wanted to explore Rome and enjoy my time here. I plan to intern at a company called Romeing (my first one w o O o O!) and take courses.
Stay tuned for what I do during my time in quarantine & comment on any places I should visit in Rome :)

I hope that you have a stupendo (wonderful) experience in Italy! There will be situations you will face (especially during the covid-19 pandemic), but your mind-set/flexibility is key! My videos only portray a part of the study abroad experience, and mostly the good parts. There were times when I had to remind myself that certain situations I can not control, but what I CAN control is how I react to situations.

For my specific program, all the students were required to house with the university. It was all set up by my school, and we house with Student Housing in Rome (SHR)! They are so helpful and speak English.

What grade are you in? Because I want to study abroad for my high school senior year
I am a junior in college! I'm not sure how studying abroad programs work for high school students, but if you ask your guidance counselor they should be able to guide you! Temple University (my college) offers a "Rome Entry Year" for incoming freshmen
students to have the opportunity to start college at Temple Rome!

Hi Liza! I would say that many Americans don't use a bidet/have one in their homes. I was shocked to see one when I was in Rome haha
