- Did you know you can kidnap SHIP VENDORS in Starfield. All you have to do is use the manipulate skill. A Reddit user found this out so let’s see in the video whether we can pull this feat off for ourselves

I was able to successfully kidnap one from Palvo....as soon as he gets inside your ship, just bring up the star map and immediately to another system.
Wait. What happens if you get scanned and you just sold all of your contraband to the vendor that's on your ship?
Good question.lol
I‘d assume nothing happens since they aren‘t part of the player faction, same reason we can‘t give contraband to companions / crew to avoid this exact cheese. But with Bethesda‘s spaghetti code, you never know
@@Random_Banshee it keeps it's inventory outside of the ship in a little chest ofc xD lol no, I don't know -_- probably??
Bring Marcel from The Den Trade Authority onto your ship. He is the only reason to go to Wolf 359 system and you could sell your contraband without ever having to pass a scan.
Put the manipulated person you brought onboard into your prison cell.
I’m so glad you tested this. I wondered if this was a glitch or mod. 👏
yes, I somehow did the same thing, not sure how are when but there is a ship vender on my ship.
Try building a large ship that the bay sits at close to the edge of the pad. I might try this with one of mine
Yo I tried it and it actually worked, It might be easier with star born guardian ship?
Ha ha ha ha LOL This is Great. This also explains that problem with all the missing ship vendors a lot of times I would go to where a ship vendor should be very late at night or early in the morning and I just thought they had business hours, LOL Till other people started posting Missing ship vendors. LMAO
Hmm aren't there non-aligned ship service vendors?
NIIIIIIIIIIIIIIICE!
Hey have you tried perhaps a different landing bay? Perhaps one with a walk-in door rather than stairs? I'm trying out a few variations now. If successful I'll leave you a msg. Here 😅
Lol 😂
Wait! Does this work on non human NPC??
What are you referring to by non-humans? Like capturing your own dinosaur on ship?
😂😂😂😂I’m dead
You learn Manipulate through the Ryujin Faction Questline. Not from leveling up. You need the Ryujin implant to get the skill
you CAN learn it from leveling up though, I did learn it manually in my first playthrough. It's much easier to do the Ryujin storyline, but both are options.
