Loved the aesthetic of the fight, but i'll be honest the encounter felt a little stale to me. Especially after running the 2 level 100 side quest dungeons which were a hoot! How'd you feel about it?
Side quest dungeons? i completely missed those where are they found?
@@ajtame look on your map in solution 9 for the level 100 blue quest 'theres something stray in the nieghbourhood' for one and then the blue quest 'it belongs in a musem' in tuylliyol for the other. :)
did this for the first time as WHM and survived the whole raid. thank you so much!
Short and to the point, just how I like it.
me too! :)
Watched your guides for most of Dawntrails dungies/trials while levelling - SUPER helpful! Thanks for the help mate :)
No problem, gald to be of service! :)
Best guides EU/NA/Everywhere
Way too kind words, but very much appreciated! :)
Love this style of guide. You've become my go-to for guides
Appreciated, i keep them coming! :)
Watched this after to make sure i understood everything. Thanks for the upload. Very useful
Glad it was helpful! :)
I personally liked the fight. Playing as Sage. My first time with the group wasn't successful but with your tips I will try again & should do my part properly. Hopefully I get a good group. Cheers.
Fingers crossed on your next run. Yeah to be fair i wouldn't go as far as to say i disliked the fight, but defo liked the other 2 trials better!
1:14 wall cheese wiped the party knocked off to our deaths. was laughing so hard 🧀
Pretty fun trial, though I feel the Royal authority bit is a tad much. Maybe I’m just a filthy casual.
As a SCH, I love that I could just have fun abusing Seraphim in this trial.
Just hit lvl 99 on SCH, looking foward to it too! :)
only healers get eyes i think
Good catch!
I figured the eye players only need look away from each other since they're the source of the gaze... Shouldn't matter if they look at the party, no?
@@SamsonGrey26 Also looks like only DPS get the flares. It also seems that the eye marker may require everyone _else_ to look away from the eyes, rather than the eyes to look away from the group. Probably something like the eye stack marker on Diabolos, so healers stand behind the group and look away from each other or something similar.
Just beat this dam fun fight ex mount gonna be crazy
very much looking foward to it! :)
so Absolute Authority basically requires a tank LB3.
Our group healer LB3'd after 6/8 died to it.
Do we really have to? I went in blind and tank LB'd when i saw the countdown. Few moments later the LB came back up for healer lb3.
@@JayJr97no it’s not required to survive you just gotta do the mechanics.
Absolute Authority is such a bullshit mechanic I thought I was playing a story trial not fucking savage.
Hope everyone knows exactly what they need to be doing, in sequence, and does it perfectly >.>
Does SE know how much it's going to cost me to get some weirdly Brooklyn sounding guy to scream at me?
Because that's the only way I function in raid scenarios, and those guys consider themselves "specialists".
Its barely an extreme mechanic lol, just stop attacking and you be fine.
@@blushingralseiuwu2222 Yes, but your average PF group consists of you, the player and the rest of the party, which are controlled by frightened cats.
@@blushingralseiuwu2222 When was the last time they put a mechanic in a _normal mode_ trial that asked every single person in the group to resolve 4 separate mechanics, which differ from player to player, within a 10 second period? One in which failure to resolve at least a couple just auto-wipes the group. Like, randomly targeted flares _on their own_ are exceedingly rare on their own in normal mode for exactly that reason. This mechanic is arguably a bit more complex than you even see in most extremes. Think back to, say, Endsinger Extreme, where the Despair Unforgotten (the sequence of 3 circle, donut, or stack markers on players) was somewhat similar, except for it, people only need to resolve 3 mechanics each, and they take place over a _30 second period._ And that's an _extreme._
There's zero reason to have a mechanic like this in normal mode, in an _MSQ trial._ Like, you can act superior all you want, but the fact of the matter is, most players are not up to snuff for extreme mechanics, and this is arguably intense even for extreme. There's a freakin' _REASON_ that extreme and savage are separate modes from normal.
The fight was so good til Wuk Lamat appeared
it felt like a cheap try at recreating endsinger phase 2 and it didn't work at all
