Pure fake, just check breather pipe port and clutch cover and point ignition mechanism, those who know about it can easily make out it's not 1958

The engine appears to be a G2 (England made) by the looks of it. The rear fender (mudguard) appears to be customized, originally it was not that way for these models. The brake rod too, never came for them. And Matchless was a completely different brand, an example, like Yamaha and Suzuki. The front mudguard also appears to be customized a little as he has tried to increase the coverage area. The battery is a 6 volts which means it has original electrical parts which work on 6 volts.
The tank is not original Royal Enfield, it had more of an oval shape with a small collar on the fromt end of it, and it came with a Royal Enfield monogram which is way much more rare than the amount of G2 bikes around.
The toolboxes are clearly customized and yes, the silencer is not an original one too.
The original silencers look almost the same as the Madras made Royal Enfields, only difference is that the plate which would be attach the silencer and the chassis would be welded on the silencer. It would be a one piece and not a two piece. And the company name also differs. Later on in about 1965 or something, they were made by AVS, before that they were just marked as Quality with a star mark or something.
The wheel hubs are luckily original and untouched, and yes the air filter box is made.
The brake and clutch levers are not original. The front seat appears to be vintage, but not the rear seat. Overall, some parts of the bike are original, most are ruined by customizing them. And the others are custom parts made for the bike.
I know these things because my dad has a garage and he only works on these bikes and he has taught me most of this. He has about 46 years of experienceof these bikes.
Also, a note to the editor. This isn't the oldest Royal Enfield, we've workrd on models older than this which have original parts. An example would be 1941 model Royal Enfield, and we own a 1956 original G2 model.

Where is your shop ...good information...old bullets had a different petrol tank shape as well as seat arrangement and the rear mud guard was abit near to the tyre..gap between the rear tyre and mudguard was less...

@@gururajkulkarni2616 oh... that is true, tourists sell the bikes here when they leave, we acquired a G2 from one which is up for sale once we completelyrestore it. You might have heard about my dad, Abdul bullet mechanic, he was quiet famous back then. Still is, but a little bit faded.

Guys it's good MADE as seen and may be registered on the RC as Matchless but sorry to say but this is not even a Matchless and not even the frame is of 1958 and surprisingly it has a Bullet G2 engine on it for which I can say it's KHICHDI as nothing looks original except the frame which is for 1951 onwards till 1955 and I know this as I own one Matchless.

This is not original matchless it is a bullet and you have modified it no original matchless bro.
This bike must be kept in London Museum. Lord Clive's grandfather used to ride it. Ha ha ha
Its not a matchless. It may have the old G2 crank case but the cylinder kit and the head is absolutely not G2, they are fitted later on. Also the carburettor is Mikuni japan, the old ones do had the Amal carburettor. Its actually impossible to found completely genuine G2 model these days. One may have an old G2 model but it will consist of mostly new parts.
Now even this bike is actually a G2 model or not we can tell it by seeing the engine number punched on the left (clutch) side of the bike where the company used the letters "G2" and then the engine numbers next. We cannot clearly see the engine numbers in this video.
If we buy this type of vintage bike is it legal to drive in India
Yes, you can keep it, to showcase, but can't ride, as it's too old, and as per rules, you can't ride.
