Badar Khalil is a Pakistani television actress. She gained popularity for her role in the TV play Bi Jamalo portraying herself as Bi Jamalo. Later on, she appeared in many as hit TV serials on PTV and other channels, her popular works include #Tanhaiyan #DhoopKinare #Ankahi, Padosi, Asawari, Marvi, Doraha, Vasl, Quddusi Sahab Ki Bewa and Teesra Kinara. She was married to the TV director Shahzad Khalil who passed away in 1989. She left the industry in 2015, after serving for over 50 years.

She's rightly upset upon the treatment by her colleagues. I've also heard that Qavi sahab was given the economy class ticket on his way to hum awards while all the youngsters travelled in business class. He's a calm and cool person so he never vented but it's such a disrespect to these old actors who have given their lifetime to this industry. Why do we have to wait for them to die to honor them?

Wow- what an honest and refreshing person! I’ve always seen her playing nakhreelay characters, eg. a strict aunt, etc. and didn’t know much about her as a person. This interview has been so much fun to watch. She’s so honest and so down to earth. I pray she finds true love in this world- she really deserves it. If I ever bump into her, I’d like to give her a big hug for being the person she is despite her struggles.

Samina Peerzada! once again an absolutely amazing interview of an amazing person. Badar as Dr Sheena!!! Dhoop kinare was I think the first ambassador of Pakistan. i was in college . It is important to clarify , I am an Indian. And that serial was watched and loved by us. That was the time when there was no social media. TV were not there in every home. we had watched this drama on rented video players.But what a revelation. Suddenly the young Indian in me had proclaimed, exclaimed. The Pakistanis- They are so like us . To that i still remember my father had replied - Because they are US.

I wish just like most of my country people that India & Pakistan live right next to each other with peace, harmony & love without interfering in each other’s matters ( just like how Canada & US do ) We want to promote business, trade & entertainment between the two countries on equal terms.
Believe me, we want to be friends with our Indian brothers & sisters.
It's so sad that she has made the decision of retirement. Not so long ago, she played Aqeela Bhabhi in QSKB, who was a very quirky and bold woman with a soul of a 'larki' (as she said herself in that drama). I still watch that drama and her character is one of my favourites.

Bilkul aisa lagta hai jaise kisi khandaan k baray se baat ho rahi hai. Allah Ms. Badr Khaleel no humesha khush rakhe she is one of the people who embodied class on TV. Very rare to find these days. My father is very sober, intellectual and religious person he never watch dramas etc but once I asked him whether he knows any actress or not, he told me that he likes Samina peerzada and Robina Ashraf and my mother likes you too. That was the day I started liking you I thought there must be something special in you that my parents like you that much. I started watching you and level of respect increases manifold. You're so sincere, natural and pure inside out.

wowww what a gem of an actress & a legend in Pakistani dramas, none can match her... it’s a pity that the new generation artists in the industry whom she had mentioned that they do not appreciate her nor do they respect her... they should instead learn from her hard work discipline, dedication, determination & motivation with which she worked in drama series unconditionally wholeheartedly... she’s far more professional than the new actresses who play the roles of mothers, instead they should all be replaced by Badar Khalil & give her those roles which will once again bring back life to pak dramas as nowadays it’s only overacting & over the top makeup & artificial dialogue delivery, i used to love watching all the dramas in which Badar Khalil played mom’s role etc she gave life to those dramas... please come back mam we miss you & insist the pak drama industry artists & producers drama makers to bring her back once again & let her take the lead as mother & great roles in pak dramas that’s my humble request please Sameena Peerzada request the drama industry to bring her back & give her the respect which she deserves... she’s indeed an institution in herself & new generation artists must learn a lot from her discipline, determination, dedication, motivation & unconditional hard work...😊🙏🏽👍👏
