    Dude, I don't where you get your info, but ToyBiz Marvel Legends at the time your #10 pick came out were like $7.00 not $20.00!! Even the ones that came with large accessories like the plain clothes Logan with motorcycle, and Ghost Rider were the same price, because all Marvel Legends back then either came with a large base or a BAF piece. In fact the most expensive place to buy Legends back then was Kay-Bee Toys and they were still only like $8.00. Then when Hasbro took over the line, the prices increased across the board to a staggering $9.99. I was so shocked I almost gave up collecting. And when the Red Hulk wave came out they were $15!! Which was ridiculous at the time. Hasbro later claimed it was a pricing error. So to say that any regular, single packed 6-inch ToyBiz Marvel Legends retailed for $20 is just plain wrong. You might want to do more fact checking.

      Base/BAF piece AND comic book. We had it all 😞 we were hella spoiled lol

      fair enough. I trusted the site I was using and will do more double checking next time out 👍

      @@_davidboxing Not to mention that most figures had unique sculpts and tons of fucking paint which gets you high on contact after opening the clamshell

    Hasbro’s ML prices is criminal. I bet buying a current toy from a duty shop inside an airport is valued, worth more for the price than buying today’s retail ML. #changemymind btw, #7 is hideous!

    • @ToyInformer
      @ToyInformer  Před měsícem

      I wonder what a ML would cost at a duty free shop. haha. But #7 just has a face full of "character" 🤣

      @@maddexjoseph3138word. That unmasked head sculpt of 97 Logan is so good. It’s a shame it only came with a neutral face for the masked head.
      Should’ve come with more accessories like alternate hands, heads etc.

      @@_davidboxing I personally love the stoic masked face, he looks determined and focused to me. I don't really care about accessories as much as the figure itself. I have literally 2 huge boxes full of hands, heads, guns and everything else you could imagine, I rarely use any of them

    • @ToyInformer
      @ToyInformer  Před měsícem +1

      I agree that I would rarely change hands/heads except at the outset. But I like having that option to start.

    Those early years of Legends sold for $10 at most, and that was at GameStop. Other retailers were $7-9 for the first couple years.

      Yeah, finding exact MSRP's from back then is actually harder than I thought it would be but the info I provided was from on online source that was obviously incorrect. If I am not sure on a price I will leave it off or go with the estimates I have from some manual research. Definitely appreciate the feedback though 🍻

    It's a good ranking, although I definitely don't understand why the Wolverine that celebrates Marvel's 85th anniversary doesn't appear.

      It's too new. I feel like these new sales just happened this past week and I made this deck 4h of july weekend. But that is a cool figure and def doing well right out the gate as many places sold out.

    I got Retro Brown Suit Wolverine for$25 on the aftermarket & put a pair of aftermarket METAL CLAWS on it
    I did the same with my First Appearance Wolverine from the Hulk 2 Pack... those are my 2 favorite Wolverines 👑

    Yikes really picked one of the worst Wolverine figures as #1. Not gonna lie the figures on this list are mostly right just the wrong order. X97 and brown retro are easily the best (85th anniversary Astonishing excluded)

    • @ToyInformer
      @ToyInformer  Před měsícem

      This is ranked by current value, not my personal picks for aesthetics. My personal picks would be a totally different list. I can do that sometime down the line, but I want folks to get to know me first in the toy world. 🍻
