the way that Chris instantly tried to give her his food bc hers was burnt 🥹 true love 😇💓
I'm sorry that no one ever showed you basic decency. So now you take act of simple decency as act of true love
this is the comment I came for
My husband does the same and it always makes me feel thought of..it’s the little things 🥰
My husband and I make feta eggs every weekend! We revamped the recipe a little tho. We cook the egg the same way but we also roast cherry tomatoes in the pan with the egg. To assemble we use toast, mash avocado with some seasonings, spread the avocado on the toast, add the feta egg, sprinkle a little extra feta, add the roasted tomatoes, and drizzle honey on top. When I tell you it is my favorite thing, I literally look forward to the weekend to eat it lol
I love how Rachel said "I think MY kids will like it" like the father of said children wasn't sitting just there 😂❤
She's so used to talking to us 😂
Rachel you don’t need to flip crepes. Just cook on one side and then flip the pan onto plate and crepe should release and fall onto plate. Works every time. I put paper towel between each crepe on the plate after cooking.
no you definitely need to flip the crêpes otherwise they're all uncooked on one side! why would you not flip them? how do you get the crunchy around and soft inside if you don't flip?!
@@lavishgoblin flip them into separate a hot pan
@@lavishgoblinif you’re making crepes as thin as they should be, they are cooked without flipping
Yeah crepes normally so thin no flipping needed....also usually oil or butter in batter
You should also let the batter rest for a while! 😊
When Schell is in her Cherry Coke shirt with blue polished nails... I know she is in HER ZOOONE. I don't make the rules, it's just facts.
Also, more recipes.
I love simple recipes so hell yes do more of these! My adhd can't handle complicated recipes so these are easy for me to follow
When flipping your pancakes/crepes you need to use a fish slice (like you used to flip the burgers, it’s so much easier 😊
exactly haha ! make it more simple to do
Or chopsticks
The grape and lime sorbet reminds me of a palate cleanser I had between courses when eating out somewhere fancy
Pull apart pies. 2 ingredients. Endless options, just whatever you like and feel in the mood for, great for holidays too
What are pull apart pies??
What are the ingredients and how do you make them?
@@TheTemptress13 mini pies you pull-a-part because baked in a cake pan
Girl, I have 4 special needs kids and I've learned how to do my grandma's recipes super quick to feed them and not spend forever in the kitchen. I'm learning even more through your videos and I appreciate it
Love your videos so much!!! I'm a long time viewer who just wants to thank you for sharing your videos w/ us 😊 I look forward to them every weekend & appreciate all your hard work!!! 🤗❤️
I look forward to all your videos. Thanks you for posting such fun, honest, and positive content. I love you and Chris!
Feta egg is amazing with crispy chili garlic/onion oil adds oil flavor and crunch! If it comes in the same container it is 1 ingredient
The snacky clusters are actually more bite size. I would say theyre mostly snacks being bound together by chocolate. Definitely more snacks. Ugh theyre so tasty.
Always look forward to your videos! I’m immediately in a happy mood so thank you💜✨
You always brighten up my weekends!
If you don't want to squish something you cut: serrated knife. You're welcome. ❤😊😄
If you do naan again, do garlic cheese naan and just add the burger and toppings. ❤
I wonder if you can grate other frozen fruit like mango.
Frozen mango whipped in a food processor makes amazing sorbet! If the fruit is really ripe, even better.
Crêpes are easy trust a French girl who eats some regularly you pour too much crepe batter your pan must be very hot and you MUST flip it AFTER little bubbles form at the surface ❤❤❤❤❤
Yes please continue this!!
The cranky Chris squished the dessert burrito face was 10/10 relatable 😂
You don't need to apologize for your "too much-ness"! You being you is why we're here! And for anyone who thinks you're too much? Well, they can go and find someone less.
I love your channel!!! 💓. I want to try a couple of these, so thank you!💗
I love watching you try recipes..not necessarily follow recipes, but try them.
Love videos like this. ❤ So I definitely would love more like this. 🌸💕
Love the idea of easy, minimal ingredient meals series!
the crepe burrito would be nice with chopped strawberries replacing the crushed oreos.
I'm French and from Brittany so please believe me when I tell you: you use way too much dough for your crêpes. You need to use a ladle with your dominant hand and gently tilt your pan with your other hand' the dough needs to move and cover the pan, you can't have holes but it should feel like there isn't enough dough at first. While cooking the borders will gently lift from the pan and look a bit like embroidery. When they lift that's when you turn them. We either flip them, ensuring first that they're not sticking, or use a kind of spatula. It should be quite easy. If they're all floppy you used goo much dough or didn't cook them enough. But they cook quickly so the trick is to really use the good amount of dough. Hope this helps if you get to read my comment!
didn't you guys get a crepe maker? I think I remember you even liking it from that video. That would have made this much easier!
Was that before or after their house fire? If it was before, they may not have thought to replace it yet...
@@chipperchipmunk7309 🥺 oh gosh, I forgot about the fire.
If you are going to use whipped cream in a dessert, don’t use CO2 charger “whipped cream” that isn’t actually whipped cream and it will always be weepy and unstable. That’s why it “melts” so fast. It’s fine for topping things (sorta- I’m not a fan of it at all) but you need real whipped cream for recipes and fillings.
Christopher immediately giving you his good taco and taking your burnt one is exactly what my boyfriend does. He will never let me have the bad thing, even though I don’t care. Chris is an excellent man! ❤
I had wondered what to do with frozen grapes. Really enjoyed basking in your snack success...
I really like the notes app pop up for the ingredients!
Fun and entertaining as always. I really am gonna try the feta and egg one!!
Loved the episode - definitely do more!
These were great. Would love to see more
Oh my goodness, you have the cutest, most lovey babies. I love them all so much!!! And boy oh boy, do they love their Mama! 🤍🤎🤍🤎
I loved this make it a series please thanks 🙏
tell me why i see your video come up and i immediately go get a cup of coffee before sitting down to watch! been a subscriber since before babies. ❤😊
Give me allllll the 5 ingredient recipes! I loved this! So many ideas, so easy
Video Idea:
You could try some recipes from those websites where you can select the leftovers you have at home and it gives you recipes with those ingredients. Select the ingredients which you always have at home. That way you'd get a little selection of basic recipes.
I would love to see more of these!!!
Love the grape dessert. I have to try it
I am so excited and ready for the Halloween and spooky recipes. Also would you do a fall themed one with of course pumpkin spice but also apple and cinnamon and all the spices for the festive seasons ahead? And of course cannot wait for the Christmas and holiday videos ❤️🎄👻
Wow, never been so early! Love watching your videos thank you :)
We make the tortilla burger with bigger tortillas on the weekly since trying throat recipe! Soooo good!
Hi, my name is Valerie and I am a Rachalcoholic. Welcome new people, we come here every Saturday to enjoy her videos. Do not worry her videos are addicting but very much enjoyable. Her husband Chris is very much a part of them as well. You will come to find this out. (Be sure to look at his t-shirts. They are very funny.) Other family members join in on the fun. So again, Welcome to the club! I am among the many other Rachalcholics who will see you around. 😉
Rachel are you aware for the grapes thing you can get a grinder attachment for Franchesca that will do that I think thats what the guy in the video was using Love your channel!
Nice video! Rachel you should try using a grill spatula when you turn the crepes. I find that it's easier when I do it with it since they are longer that the one you used.
Try using a big wide spatula for the crepes. That helps for me.
The chocolate crepe burrito looks really good and 🤤
I think the crepes would be amazing with a cool whip/cream cheese filling
love lookin forward to your vids on saturdays 🩷
9:10 if you watch other videos, you really don’t need to flip your crepes. Cooking on the one side is enough. Love your videos ❤!! from Ohio🇺🇸
I’ve been here for years and years and never introduced myself. Hi, fellow Canadian here, enjoying both your channels .
The best 3 ingredient recipe, people LOVE THEM and ask for them every Christmas. My husband’s grandmother made them. She honestly was one of those wonder cooks. I never had anything that was not amazing, She grew , canned her own vegetables.
Ritz crackers
Peanut butter
Chocolate bark ( candy coating )
Put the peanut butter in the middle of two Crackers and coat in the melted chocolate. Let cool on parchment paper. Every Christmas it looked like an assembly line.
*We have also experimented with Dulche de leche and melted caramels in place of peanut butter.
They also look amazing if you are patient and let the chocolate drip off … so they are perfectly rounded with no “ globs of chocolate “
I can’t remember the exact proportions but we have tried dark chocolate mixed into bark and it was amazing. The Ritz crackers provide salt but perhaps I will try a tiny sprinkle of salt flakes on top .
Crepe making can be really challenging. I've found using less batter and lifting the pan off the burner to spread it to cover the bottom. Then making sure the crepe isn't sticking to the pan (moving it around) I've learned how to flip them with just the pan (it's all in the wrist!🤪) My MIL had a casserole recipe where crepes were filled with a meat mixture, rolled up, and arranged in a dish. As for the frozen grapes. I was just looking at buying an ice shaver to use to make snow cones for the grandkids!
My first thought was it's way too much batter.
@@staceyotten5312 I'm sure there are some very good YT videos on crepe making. I felt badly for her! I also always let the batter rest for 30 minutes before using, Sometimes I make it the day before and leave it in the fridge. The batter works well after that!!
My favourite salty snacks with chocolate: corn bugles, pretzels, plain riffled potato chips.
This could be a good Christmas gift.
I also wonder if you could make the crepe with ice cream and shortly freeze it. Or if you could make those fruit boozy.
8:49 try a big rubber scrapper spatula and regular one
How about mix the cool whip and whipped cream? Tasty AND stable.
Awesome video.
Haha! As soon as I saw the title, my first thought was 'Ooh! A fried feta egg!' They do hit the spot, and they have been my go-to lately, especially on a burger.
For crepes you want those to be in the fridge until the next day! Very important! How you pour it in is also! You go around the pan and you’ll have a nice thin batter vs more like American pancakes!
more of these meal style though please 😊
Can you please link you necklace? I love it!!!
Rachel that’s how we make our fast this put the meat on one side of the tortillas for in half and fry then add cheese after they’re cooked to be melty 🤤
Ok her videos are my therapy 😭
Crepes, or like in my country is called panqueques, shake the pan a bit to loosen the mix, up, down, sides... and then flip them. maybe you can use a plate to slide it and then, put the plate as fast as you can to the other side back to the pan, or the other way around (plate on top of the pan, flip it so the crepe is upside down, then slide it into the pan).
Add onion, lettuce, and Big Mac sauce to the tortilla burgers. So good!
8:50 making crepes can be so easy tho!! For real all you need is a crepes pan (which has lower edges) and a regular spatula! So sad you're having a hard time with it because I really enjoy making crepes! It's easier than making pancakes in my opinion!
Yay!
If you still have the Yonanas blender thing, it would work perfectly with the grapes. You can use any frozen fruit in it.
For the snack cluster, you could try adding more snacks to improve the chocolate to snack ratio
Are the chocolate milk crepes better than the regular ones?
Do you have a wide mouth funnel, the kind used for mason jars? When you were putting the flour into the nutribullet for the crepes in it I thought, ooh, that would be helpful. :)
Add a bit of oil to your crepe batter, and then leave it on a medium heat, when you sort of shake the pan it will automatically loosen and then you can just flip the crepe.. with or without a spatula (they break less if you flip them in the pan)
Ok so the crepe cooking process. Skim around the pan first- lift all the edges up with small skinny spatula. The take flipper and flip whole crepe. Also the edges should be going golden brown. Yea got to spatula happy with the first one! Hoping this helps yea out ❤
I put frozen fruit in my snow cone machine. I haven't done grapes yet.
Have you ever tried the grape recipe that taste like a caramel apple? It does have nuts in it but you could leave the nuts off. It's delicious. Taste just like a caramel apple. Even though it's a grape. Btw your nails are so pretty.
You should get the crepe maker !! Test it in a new kitchen gadget video!
Rachel, you might want to bake some chocolate chip cookies and then use them to sandwich the leftover Cool Whip and whipped cream mixtures. Kind of like Chipwiches.
I want to try the feta egg thing now.
If you ever take recipes from comments, my grandmother loves making these snacks with a bag of butterscotch chips, choco chips and a bag of potato chips!! They’re so good
Chocolate covered chips and fritos. I had my first ones at a candy store in ND. They are a pain in the butt to make and at no time what so freaking ever did my mind go just crush them the heck up and make bark.
HI Rachel in your next video could you try the stuffed French toast in your next video if you haven't already?
The crepe recipe I want to see with icecream. Can store extra/leftovers in the freezer!
It looked like you used a large cool whip container which is equivalent to two of the regular size ones….maybe the recipe called for two regular so you would need just one of the regular 8oz containers to half it? Might make for the large amount of filling? I would think a stabilized whipped cream with a little cream cheese in it would be the best😍
Feta egg… been doing that (on toast or wrap) Since 2016 as a uni student 😅😅
From a Mexican you need to try more Tajin recipes. We eat a lot of stuff with it and/or chamoy. This are Mexican staples
Where is the crepe maker you tested awhile ago? I feel like that would have really helped
Use bakers chocolate for the snacks
Feta egg is a Turkish breakfast staple!! Not quite made that way!! You should give it a go! I also want to give the tortilla one a go!!
Where’s your crepe cooker…it was awesome
“My too-muchness is showing, and I’m sorry!” 😂😂😂
Viral pregnancy cravings one pot ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Any fruit with lime and tajin is fantastic… that’s how we eat fruit in Mexico 😊
Please make broma bakery's chocolate chip cookie
❤❤❤
Try an electric crepe maker. Just dip in the batter and voila crepe
Crepes use the back a small frying pan spray pan dip pan heat backwards and spatula it off
The snacky clusters - I would say making it at home means you can decide what to put in and how much. I am so excited that "dipping things in chocolate" season is nearly upon us.
