I remember the old Ribble buses running round Fleetwood. single, but even double deckers having to pass each other on some of our tiny roads. There were five separate routes here once. There used to be a bus drivers Competition on Queens Terrace, and all the Ribble crews were NUR [Railway] union. Because they were originally L & Y Railway.

Thoroughly enjoyable video. Lots of memories recalled of Ribble in and around my home town of Kendal. I will always remember the 555 to Ambleside and K11 which ran from Hallgarth estate to Rinkfield where my granny lived.
I didn't see any Standerwicks. My favourites were the Gay Hostesses from the early 60s.

I went to emergency dentist after getting ripped on private dentist what didn’t fix my problem.

Gradely vlog TE. Used to travel between Garstang to Lancaster daily to school on a variety of Ribble Leyland Titans and Atlanteans in 1960s.
