I actually tried this for a while. Belching didn't quite do the trick, so I adopted a high starch diet consisting mostly of undercooked beans.
It made an indelible impression on my wife when I performed at the dinner table. I'll never forget what she said. She looked deeply into my eyes, scowled, and asked, "Were you born in a BARN??"
These days, I ignore my chakras, just as it they didn't exist at all. My wife seems happier.

She'd do well learning Xhosa or any of the other "click" languages of South and East Africa. Being able to make those sounds is an ability not easily acquired, so why doesn't she put it to some worthwhile use by learning a language where that accomplishment would put her well ahead of nearly all other non-native learners?

IIRC, different parts of the tongue are used.
I do this kind of stuff all the time.. Whenever I am trying to annoy my dog or my kittens. Or whenever I have decided to torture innocent loved ones.. But never never did I think playing dumb was magical.

Jokes aside, I can imagine that it has its psychological aspects. And I can indeed agree to similarities of sound ambience like in a rain forest.
PS: A physiotherapist with some esoteric knowledge told me this is not even Kundalini Yoga, but rather a kind of Shamanic treatment.
