Remember, while it’s good to get excited, emotion comes and goes. These type of nights are fine but don’t let the “hype” drive you. Let the Holy Spirit of God drive you. Become a student of God’s Word and a diligent prayer.
Sometimes, young folks can burn out spiritually when it’s emotion and “feeling” that’s driving them. Be excited, but measured and rational. And don’t assume that spiritual maturity means rah rah emotion. It doesn’t.
