You and LessImpressedMoreInvolved are the holy grail of jj learning. You got the gi and he's got the no-gi
Honestly I would like to mix it up with a bit of no gi content, but I train in the gi 95% of the time. So my no gi is just lacking way too much.
You should give dpsbreakdown a try, great breakdowns on the takedown/standing side of things
Yeah I learn most from these kind of videos. BJJ, wrestling, boxing, thai, mma.
Best format for me.
And the OG goat of these videos is BJJ Scout.
RIP his channel :(
@@guest0046yea sucks he stopped posting 😢
@@guest0046did anyone ever hear who BJJScout was?
His ability to maintain pressure while he’s switching his hips or otherwise leaving the ground is so impressive
It really is wild
Lepri is a Legend, if I'm not mistaken, he won Europeans without having scored a single point against him, insane. Good job Bro! Cheers from Brazil!
Yup I think he did! And thank you for watching 🙏
Nice man, Lepri has some of the best passing ever. Funny you said "he somehow teleports to the other side of the guard". I always compare him to nightcrawler from X-Men when I teach his systems.
The speed at which he reacts is insane. Definitely see the Night crawler similarities lol. Also one of my fav characters from x men!
Finally a deep dive video!!! Always looking forward to it.
🙇♂️ thanks my bro
This is perfect! I was literally compiling videos to study yesterday and then this pops up 👍
Can’t go wrong studying up on some Lepri 🙌
Your thorough analysis of Lucas Lepri was so insightful that we are going to study and practice his system on our December Gi curriculum.
Ayyy thats really cool to hear! It makes me happy to know my videos can help people in anyway. Thank you for the comment!
What a super awesome breakdown!! Top notch youtube content for sure ❤😊
You hit everything spot on here! His use of the lapel-grip elbow frame to beat the various guard frames is key. One grip/frame for multiple uses.
Yup you summed it up nicely! Thank you for watching 🙏
Was looking forward for this! awesome video
Thank you for watching! 🙌
Excellent breakdown! Thank you!
Thank you ! 🙏
Bravo dude; incredible case study here. Your time spent on this is appreciated!
Thank you so much 🙌 more to come!
Wow that instant reaction to the lasso pummel is crazy. Don't know how I've never seen that before. I always just accept that lasso coming in. Gonna have to try that. Amazing breakdown as usual!
Yea the way he counters the leg pummel is so smooth. Thanks for watching! 🙌
Holy 💩, how is his passing so good. Honestly if you didn’t slow down/explain his technique I’d be so lost 😂 thank you for this! The collar grip he maintains was so interesting definitely made me realize the amount of pros of doing this while passing. Hope to be as good as Lepri..one day… 😂
Can’t wait for more studies! Oss🥋
You will be just as good as Lepri one day 😤 worlds 2024 here we come. Thanks for watching! And helping me with my Instagram 😂
Good stuff. Thanks.
Thank you for watching!!

Incredible video!
Thanks for watching!! 🙌
Ele é magico demais, minha maior inspiração no jiu.
Brilliant vide
I literally pass just like Lepri, its so good. It opens up step backs really nicely too.
Muito bom. Obrigado!
Oss thank you for watching 🙏

Lepri is the best passer. Love his style.
💯 agreed
The light weight king 👑 🔥
💯 6 years straight is wild. Was he light weight for all those years?
Turned passer in blue now in purple I find myself coming to this video over and over and I’m sure I’ll be here in brown and black
10/10!
Thank you! 🙌
Bom vídeo 📙
3:13 good tip for knee cut,, to hold and pin down their bottom leg
Do you have any deep dives on anyone’s killer guard retention/recovery? I def gotta study more bottom game techniques.
Not as of yet, but something on guard retention will be coming up in the next few months. I’m tryna figure out how I would approach that video though. Study retention through one person? Or through multiple people?
@@DeepDiveJJ thanks, homie! I don’t have anyone particular in mind, so whatever is easier to research/deep dive into, I’ll be looking forward to seeing in the next few months 🤙🏻
What you refer to as the the pocket is a position called side headquarters lachlan has a course on it on submeta
The Goat lightweight
💯
🎉🎉🎉🎉
I think the pocket is actually known as the split squat position.
Lachlan has a course on submeta on this style of passing called side headquarters, might interest you
Im curious 🤔
This is the guy andrew wiltse can't shut up about
😂
I'm just speculating, but it seems like the act of guard passing which is walking back over the demarcation line is currently attracting attention.
I've just recently had the opportunity to roll with Lepri at a seminar and I can tell you as a blue belt every choice is a bad choice 😂
😂 I can only imagine. What techniques did he show?
@@DeepDiveJJ he showed some SLX/X Guard defense and passing and some HQ details.
GOOD PASSERS KNOW HOW TO UTILIZE TRIPODING. That’s tripoding allows you to be heavy on your man and go side to side fast. Tianan does it , lucus does it, rafa, Damien etc
💯 spittin facts
do Ronaldo Junior from Atos
Se o Lucas tivesse descido de categoria seria um ótimo confronto entre Lucas lepri e Rafael Mendes
Pra mim o Lucas lepri é um Rafael Mendes maior e mais forte.
6:35 hig leg 🤮
People aren't aware of the abuses happening at his gym with kids though, really sad. This guy is not who you think he is
fake news
I have his collar sleeve passing instructional and its absolute gold. 🤌
