- A video of the live version of "Possible" at Kings Place in London, 2019. Video directed, filmed and produced by Michael Lebor and Sedge Thomson, live audio engineering by Alex Nahas. I look forward to when we can be together in a venue again. Until then, stay well! Also, CZcams doesn't allow me to earn anything from my videos, so if you like this please consider purchasing some of my music at music.zoekeating.com
Thank you!! - Hudba
I came across Zöe back in 2011 when I was in service in Afghanistan!! Her music made my everyday easier!!! Here I am having it tough as a retired Veteran... Thank you!!!! 🤗😢😀😀😀😀😀😀
Best wishes going forward. Thank you for your service.
This is one of a kind just like every thing thst Zoe is creating. She is my favourite musician for many years now. She makes not only music, but also magic.
Truly incredible, the world needs such healing art more than ever.
Only stumbled across this artist from the movie The Edge of all we Know. When I heard the music, my head resembled the tilting of a German Shepherd's ears when it hears a certain tone. Plan = listen to All that Zöe has to offer, it could just be soul medicine that I need. Ive already shared a bunch of times. Hope it clicks with more people. Continued success, Bravo!...👏👏👏...Bravo! 🔥🇮🇪☘️💚
haunting cello loops somehow feel like the perfect score to quarantine
Don't know why but when i listen to your music i feel such a strong (even painfully strong) emotions that i'm starting to cry... every time.
Thank you for your work. And i wish you all the best.
Absolutely beautiful, Zoe, magic happens any time a cello is in your hands. I had to go buy every CD you've ever put out after the first song I heard you play. Your music and your skill with looping inspire me to learn more and do better with my own music. I love the way you layer everything in, right before our eyes and ears w/o us realizing it. Then, the next thing we know we are hearing a whole squad of Zoe's playing beautiful music. Thanks for sharing! Take care of you and yours, stay safe and healthy!
Beautiful and brilliant on so many levels !!!
Wow! First time hearing her ...
Hey Zoe...it's been all too long since I've seen your beautiful countenance and back to when you had dreadlocks , performing at the "Kate" in Old Saybrook, CT. Your music has a very deep haunting tone to it, Captivating like a Siren calling out to a lost Ship in the fog...Primal roots come to mind. Okay I'm done reflecting ..Wishing you and son to 🐝💪❣️Alan
Zoe, there's no point in turning off the Likes/Dislikes on your videos: no person in their right mind is going to dislike your music.
Wonderful performance. My wife and I were visiting London and when I found out Zoë would be playing I couldn’t miss it. What an experience it was! And great to relive it with this video.
Thank you for all that you do and congrats on the nomination 🤞
I held on to the edge what was coming at me... far flung and shuffling - time slides through material reality
Thanks for this. My wife and I went to London and managed to catch your show at King's place the year before this tour, with the hourly drama of your missing luggage and instrument. I always make my wife smile when I say things like "Hey...we went to that train station!" or other London scenes in movies. Such a beautiful place.
I discovered This amazing artist in bandcamp , while looking for music for a documentary film! I have listened to this piece, "Possible" about 15 times today. It is performed with so much feeling, and nuanced precision, without being overdramatic. I'd love to see this performer live.
Three or four days ago, I was reading comments on a Julia Kent video. Someone said that you should definitely listen to Zoë Keating too. I am extremely grateful to this person! I have to admit that I didn't know her at all. What a shame! She immediately entered my pantheon and I bought her entire discography on Bandcamp. I can't say enough about how much I admire this young lady's enormous talent and her music that will give me so much pleasure. Many, many thanks, great Lady and great ARTIST!
I love that among the backstage moments we see is the tape on the finger. It feels like a very honest & human moment.
I was at this gig 😍🙌🏻
The cello is my favorite orchestral instrument and Zoe Keating is one of my favorite cellists.
Absolutely fantastic!
So much Emotions create with Just one Instrument and she plays my Favorite one Just arrrrww awsome
I've gotta say, listening and watching you perform is always both so centering and also so inspiring. This was a real treat, so thanks so much for posting it. I always want to go make a bunch of cool shit afterward. Thanks for that :)
Love this! This helped me lower my anxiety and dissociate my mind from all the crazy shit happening besides the coronavirus. Thanks a lot Zoë! 🤎🎻
A lovely performance, Zöe. Hope to see you in Boston again soon. Until then, stay safe.
entra nelle cellule e muove come un onda nel fondo del mare. Grazie Zoe

Just Beautiful. Gorgeous tone, and the effects that kick in at about 1:38 are sick! Awesome!
Thank you 🙏, I’ve fallen in love with cello because of you
Wow! Splendide. Vraiment bravo pour ce vidéo qui rend magnifiquement justice à votre musique.
Thank you!
amazing performance and video, huge fan.
I LOVE her
Why do I feel like crying my eyes out when I hear her sounds?
Sorry I missed that gig. That cello sound gets me every time.
Thank you zoe
Grande!!!!
From Katoomba, New South Wales, Australia.......bravo!
I look back upon the live performance of yours I was once at in a tiny intimate venue in... Dallas, I think...? with such profound joy. It was one of my favorite live performances of all time. I hope you're well.
Performed in Dallas at the Kessler Theater, which is indeed a 'tiny intimate venue'. I've seen Zoe there twice and am looking forward to a third Dallas performance. It speaks to Zoe's dedication to the intimate performance of music, rather than to maximizing ticket revenue, which she easily do in filling a larger auditorium. Thanks for your beautiful music, Zoe.
Wow! Just got introduced to this brilliant, skilled, talented musician via brainpickings / Maria Popova's article "Antidotes to Fear of Death: Astrophysicist Janna Levin Reads Astronomer and Poet Rebecca Elson’s Stunning Cosmic Salve for Our Creaturely Tremblings of Heart." Zoe was the soundtrack while Janna read the poem. I was intrigued by her music so clicked on the link in the article to Zoe's site. Then listened to more on CZcams. Love her!
Thank you, Maria Popova!
Just subscribed. Thank you Zoe
A Mashuo with Zoe and 2Cellos would blow up the internet 😂🤙🏼👏🏼👏🏼💃🏿🕺🏼
Beautiful! Always such a pleasure. Still waiting for you to come to Phoenix. We have some wonderful venues here! (Blue living in a Red state)
Ohhhhhhh!!!! ABSOLUTELY LOVE! I would love a copy of this. Have you recorded it to sell yet? I’ve forgotten when I first learned of your music. I was immediately in love. As an artist (visual) I often dream of what could be produced to deserve your performing with it. The dream is fleeting though. When I got a regime’s dog 5 years ago I quickly learned she would be with me almost every moment of everyday. So when I would leave her on the bed to shower or do something which took a bit of time in another place in the house/yard I would turn music on for her. She chose you! My sweet mamma dog, Flower, is always soothed when she here’s you. Older and with some health issues, today is tough for her. Just started playing your music and she nearly immediately calmed. Thank you so very very much. These are just words in an attempt to describe how your art fits into our world, but truly it is impossible to wholly express the depths to which you move, affect and fill us. Thank YOU!
I was almost able to go to this show, I regret not pushing to make it possible, hopefully one day..
Impressionante. *-*
😍🎶🎵
🤯
Ohhh
2:24 yes
🙌👐👏👐🙌😊
You are so beautiful. Thank you.
[thanks Peter Hoar for the link] -- great pleasure to hear
Maybe it's my hard rock pedigree, but I've never been one for music that likes to build up, I always want to get into the meat of the song, I often skip intros.
Zoë's music is a rare exception, it all works for me.
Try Sibelius's Symphony No. 7 (listen to the whole thing before judging) and Shostakovich's Symphony No. 10 (listen to at least the whole first movement - well, listen to the 2nd too, it's very contrasting, the whole symphony is amazing), and see if those also work! (Make sure you turn them up, they both start very quiet.)

Shostakovich: czcams.com/video/TSvsVvrzuN8/video.html
@@matthewv789 Checked it out. A bit slow for casual listening, very good though, quite cinematic! (for lack of a better word, since it predates cinema)
@@MarkArandjus They don't completely predate cinema, the Shostakovich especially. The Sibelius was composed in 1924, the Shostakovich in 1953. But I know what you mean: they had that epic quality without needing to be inspired by cinema. Definitely not casual listening, either one!
@@matthewv789 Well, they certainly sound like modern cinema! Or rather, modern cinema sounds like it, seeing how composers like Williams stood on the shoulder of composers like Holst :)
@@MarkArandjus Shostakovich actually wrote the scores to quite a number of (Soviet) films! But you're right of course, film music often sounds like earlier romantic or post-romantic "classical" music, not the other way around, just most listeners are not familiar with that music and hear the film music first.
Read an article about Spotify payments. Led me here. Your music is great.
