I have severe ptsd, ocd, anxiety, and depression and am schizophrenic and bipolar and my reborn helps me feel like I have a purpose. She also helps me when having flashbacks to ground myself.
(She’s also very important and fulfilling to my inner child)

These stories always make me think of Koko, the gorilla who learnt sign language, at some point she was constantly asking for a baby of her own, even trying to reason with the her handlers signing things like, "I should have a baby because I'm polite". She wasn't able to have one and was given baby dolls, baby gorilla plushies, and she had two kittens.

Your 100% right. Back in 2004 I had a premature birth to my first son. And unfortunately at 28weeks he was too small back then to make it with the problems he had. I wish I had one of the reborn dolls at that point in my life. It would have been the best way to cope with it I believe.

Same. But I also have tokophobia. For me I’m scared of being infertile or not being able to have kids. Although tokophobia is sometimes the exact opposite of that.

My boyfriend is planning on getting one. He took care of his baby brother when their mother was dying. The father has essentially cut the connections between my boyfriend and his baby brother. He's gotten weighted plushies to simulate holding and rocking his baby. But they aren't the same. He's saving up for one. He doesn't want one that looks exactly like his brother since he's still alive and he thinks that might be creepy. Plus it's cheaper to buy already reborn babies.
See with me the reason why i have a reborn is cause both me and my partner tried to have a baby but failed heaps of times so i brought myself one and she's helped me allot with feeling that motherly experience
I got my first reborn baby for Christmas as a 16 year old and I am loving it because I have a disability where I act and sometimes feel like I’m 6 again so having the doll makes me feel happy and and like I’m a little kid again and makes me feel better for being different and the disability I have is called intellectual development disability which can confuse my brain and I can start acting like a difference age and this month I’m turning 17 and I’m hoping to get another one

I started collecting as I was looking in to them for a resident at work, and fell in love with the realism and artistry it takes to create such life like baby's. Doesn't hurt that it also helps my anxiety to Snuggle one of these beauty's.

If you want to be a mother Pray to God to help your husband understand how important it is to you to have a child. You only go through this world one time, and as a woman we are limited on how long we can have children. Children are a gift from God being parents, is the hardest job to do. The reward is endless to have a family of your own. God bless. I was unable to have children due to medical reasons. My husband passed, and I am without my own family. Wish I had children.

Not once have I heard any reborn doll person talk about the people that buy them simply because they like them. Why is it so important to make sure everyone knows there is a Greater purpose to making these dolls?

Hi I bought my friend one of these I placed in this little tech device in her to make it look the baby breathes because when she held her baby brother he stopped breathing and is turned into ashes.

Jill thank you for doing this video/short I get this question a lot in my personal life and it’s been so hard with having our miscarriages that I have so much baby fever and scared I will never be able to have my own child and I have always wanted a huge family since I was a child at 16 years old I got to experience auntie hood to the point where I was the one getting up at night with the twins and a year old missing school because I needed to be with them until they were 4 years old and now i barely get to see them and I just want that feeling that I had with them crossing my fingers one day my husband and I will have our own but not getting my hopes up. Or trying not to.
