I think Vietnam this year has a strong chance of landing in the Top 5 with NGỌC CHÂU, she exudes glamour, sophistication and natural beauty with such an angelic face. The work she's put in (along with the MU Vietnam Organization) has been fantastic, she's going to be one of the strongest. 🌟🎉
At first I was also disappointed, but after seeing her rehearse her walk is amazing and she is so tall and pretty. Idk how her speaking is but she is going on top def, her walk is flawless
She should be good. But tbh girls started extremely strong on swim and got a little weak at gown. You can tone down the attitude from swim to gown, obviously. The pace isn’t the same. But the got weaker on gown.
All my competition “Reaction” videos are all demonetized 🥲 hours of hard work. But I knew this very well. I just wanted to have fun with all of you guys ❤️
Just a few clarifications. 1. The curly girl from Lam Đồng is actually not mixed. We do have a subset of ethnic minorities who have curly hair and afros. 2. The first runner up is representing Vietnam in Miss Universe 2023. 3. Ngoc Chau is very different now than when she competed in the national pageant. Walk is different. Styling is polished. Speaking skills. She’s more lowkey but she’s definitely fighting.
@@xavimatashi well, in case you haven't known it yet. Unluckily not only to Thao Nhi Le - our 1st RU MUV, but also to lots of Vietnamese beauty fans, she wasn't allowed to compete in the upcoming year because the license no longer is possessed by Unicorp, the org of MUV2022. But it was transferred to another company. At first, the new Org stated that she would be able if her company made a discussion with them. Despite many efforts of Unicorp and Thao Nhi, the new company just tried to obtain social influence and of course :) they made an excuse for not sending her to MU 2023 stage. IDK whether u read it or not, but you are really dedicated through the way you replied every comment, I'm gonna catch up on your vlogs.

America in general. It was amazing how the culture was embedded in the competition it was so beautiful to watch. It was my pleasure and hope to watch more Miss Universe Vietnams in the future ❤️❤️❤️
41:32 You know, that dress is very special, it was created by the girl herself, in real life she is a supermodel, a fashion designer. That evening dress was created by her from "Eating Vinegar". After the finale, her dress is famous in many countries for its uniqueness and elegance
If you love pearls on crown 👑 welcome to Vietnam 🇻🇳 almost our pageants crown from Long Beach Pearl (the new Miss International crown sponsor) and you’ll see a wide variety of beautiful crown with so many pearls (Miss Vietnam, MUVN, MWVN, MEVN,…)
contestant number 606 she is a representative of Dien Bien Phu city, which is also the northwest region of Vietnam. Dien Bien Phu city is associated with wartime historical relics of the American and French empires. I hope you have time to visit my homeland, the country, the people of Vietnam, and the land of Dien Bien Phu in particular! Thank you
57:21 It was a confusing question, and the MC didn't translate it correctly. The question was: "Many countries are facing old populations and low birth rates, so many people take that as the reason to oppose same-sex marriage. Do you agree with them?" => She said: "I believe loving somebody has nothing to do with a country's population or birth rate. Everybody has the right to love. For me, real love has no gender, sexuality, age, or ethnicity. So, I hope that everyone will believe in their love and what they choose. And a happy country is where people are happy and can love who they want." She was born and raised in a poor village and didn't have opportunities to study English well, so I think that's why she was so nervous in the Q&A section.
I am Vietnamese, and I completely agree with your opinion. The girls overuse the shawl, I know it's the style of Vietnamese fashion, but it really looks boring and outdated.
Unpopular opinion....I don't think a cape is necessary for the swimsuit competition. It's very distracting and unnecessary. I can tolerate a sarong.... If they're wearing a cape....JUST DONT TOUCH it 🤷🏾♂️
walking in just to let the air in to the cape is fine. but let go once you’re fully fully on stage. you want to toss it in the air while on a turn sure but be careful with how much force you’re tossing that thing that looks over done. i give a girl 5-8 seconds on stage to spare while performing to play with the cape.
1st runner-up is a mixed breed, you are all pure Vietnamese... in Vietnam, no hybrid has ever been crowned and competed internationally because Miss in Vietnam likes pure Vietnamese and wants to bring color. Vietnamese women go to the arena international, so very few hybrids participate in the beauty contest because this year's out-of-the-top contest is an exception, having a mixed-race child is the 1st runner-up.🙃
@@xavimatashi Idk what this person is talking about 😭. The 1st runner up is full Vietnamese she was just raised in Germany but returned back to Việt Nam a few years ago. Also there has only been one non ethnic Vietnamese MU. (2018, top 5 Miss Universe, Hhennie) She is from the Rade ethnic group not the Kinh (Viet) ethnic group.
So a lot of people keep saying it's a hybrid because it looks like a hybrid. This 1st runner-up has a great influence and you MUV in 2018 is an ethnic in the past, many people moved to Vietnam to escape at that time. Just formed a small group that has not yet formed the territory of the country anymore, in total, Vietnam has 54 ethnic groups, 1 ethnic group is of Vietnamese origin, the rest of ethnic origin is a law that has been granted to be Vietnamese and then not mixed because In the past, they avoided the situation of not forming a country, but migrated to be considered as Vietnamese, then it was very difficult to find their origin, contributing a lot and having great merit to stand side by side and protect the country .... In Vietnam, it is still very traditional, but I think that an international contest representative must bring enough Vietnamese colors promote internationally, pure Vietnamese are more popular than hybrids looking to Asia For example, Philippines and Thailand like mixed-race people, most of them are mixed in international competitions, that's why there is no place for their people, that's why Vietnamese fans have a sense of pride in favor of pure Vietnamese and Vietnamese-Americans are the majority. As a model, she rarely jumps over to be a beauty queen🙃
goodness you're so clueless. The first runner up is 100% Vietnamese from both parents. She was born and raised in Germany though so she's trilingual. Still her bloodline is all Vietnamese.
