i'd wish my garage was this nice, even the dirty garage
I was hoping it was an unfinished concrete floor but it was still a great video for when we do finish our floor. That's a super nice garage, love the big windows.
Awesome. Thanks for uploading. This 2021 winter storm reeked havoc on my garage. Going to use your technique when the weather warms up!
Man, nice job. You're right about the usefulness of surface cleaners - such a handy attachment for your pressure washer.
I also just posted a new video on how to remove those fertilizer stains and rust stains from concrete! Check it out here: czcams.com/video/gU42nVntfLE/video.html
Wow!! Looks great!! Just bought my first home and I'm looking to turn the small (very small) garage into my craft room. But first I need to clean it and frankly I didn't know where to start. This was very helpful ... THANK YOU!!
Same!
Thanks have an Industrial shop floor cleaning job with my crew and wanted to check a few videos before doing it!! And good call on Zep, great products and even better price range
That is a sealed floor.
A non-sealed floor is a heck of a headache.
Contractor.
Yup
I’m trying to find a video that shows how to clean a non sealed cracked garage floor I rent my place. If you know of one please lmk
I just watched your newest fishing video for striped bass and then looked up how to clean a garage floor. This video was the first thing that came up LOL I thought I was still on your fishing channel at first!
Your garage floor’s dirty?! You should see mine hahaha great job!!!
I already watch your fishing and adventure videos... I just randomly look up good ways to clean garage floors because I am in the process of doing that, I click on this video not really paying attention to who made it, and I hear Ace.
What video have you NOT made?!
lol
Good stuff, dude.
It’s 1 am and I’m about to mop my garage floor
This isn’t your typical catch and cook 🤔
😂😂😂 💀💀💀
that's not really how to clean a concrete floor. its how to clean an epoxy floor.
Works for me.
@@deloresleonard762 not for me. It's also a misleading title.
Fantastic video, that's exactly what I need to do to my garage floor.
So satisfying to see the cleaning part
*Hi. If that's your garage looks like the one in the video, you should consider lifting the wood cabinets off the floor and create platform for the fridge. Wood and metal just need a bit of water to start decaying.* If the cabinets are attached to the wall you can remove the wood valances(?) and put bricks under them for support. The icebox platform can also be bricks or a DIY concrete tile/slab.
simple and easy :) thank you!!!
Very nice!! Looks really good.. Thanks for the tips!!
Thank you so much for posting!
A fishing channel
Then from nowhere ”how to clean your garage floor”

Great job!
Very nice, would you recommend doing this to a concrete floor? Moved into a house, and the garage looks horrible definitely looking to clean it out.
that is a beautiful garage
Kripple Hippo eg
Came out great! I’m wondering if downstreamed the Zep when you were using the surface cleaner?
Looks amazing 😮
Great video, thanks. The company that painted my garage floor said just to use ammonia instead of soap, mainly to keep it from getting slippery I think, any thoughts ? Dan
Some great tips, glad I watched this.
Hey Ace! We're moving out and I'll pay you to come to New Jersey and clean our garage floor! It's 10X worse than yours. HAHAHA! Great job, you are so organized!! Regards, Tom
Good job!
That floor looks like it has some sort of finish on it. I have a rock concrete floor that looks Metta. Would I use the same method?
Thank you for the nice video, please can you post a link for the cleaning liquid product you used, thank you 👍
What would you recommend for a good draw less cabinet for placing and storing moderate to heavy items on?
Also great video! it helped alot while cleaning my garages floor. had some nasty oil/ tire marks on it... but bam! they are gone now lol
I have these one that I got at Home Depot. Here's the link: www.homedepot.com/p/HDX-5-Shelf-36-in-W-x-16-in-L-x-72-in-H-Storage-Unit-21656PS-YOW/100656305
Thanks for watching and please subscribe!
Awesome vid
My garage was so filthy now it's almost spotless
I need to get some concrete cleaner , does that attachment fit most pressure washers ?
You could always take like painters plastic and tape it up around the walls. will help prevent water from getting on the walls and everywhere dont want it
Chakat Nightsparkle yeah but A.) That would take like 5 rolls of painters tape to do B.) Why do that when you could just spend the $70 and buy the attachment and have it for life. It’s just easier
Thank you for sharing!
Love the work you did. I have an old house, want to paint the floor- scraped linoleum tile but now need info on cleaning off old junk. I guess it doesn't have to be totally removed?? glue or old stains. I think we're going with a paint. thanks for any wisdom here!
Gtantman Hemenwahoy
really good👏👏👏
How long does it take to dry?
Zep products are fantastic
How do you clean a painted garage floor? It’s not epoxy and isn’t plain concrete. Is a power washer too much?
Love it!
thank you. I did it today with bleach. Got most of it out but would have rather use the product you recommended.
There should be a function on ur pressure washer to spray your cleaner when you initially "wet it"
Thanks good video~ good garage
Excellent
Hi, how much do you charge for a garage that size? Thank you 🙏
What type of floor coating was that? What state ?
During the attachment step, it looks like a lot more cleaner was coming through the attachment rather than just using leftover cleaner from when the scrubbing was done before. Is this correct? Do power washers have a way to mix whatever cleaner you want to use with the water, and did you do that? If so, what brand and type of cleaner was used at that point? It's one thing to be in the cleaning business, but most people don't need to clean concrete often enough buy a power washer and $70 attachment. They'd rarely use it and it just takes up valuable storage space. I guess that's why they call you. How much did you charge them for that?
I know this is a few years on from when you asked that question, but I shall answer it for posterity. Most pressure washers/water blasters have a small inlet port that can be used to add cleaner/chemical to the incoming water to boost your cleaning power. They generally give you a 4 to 1 ratio of water to soap once it comes out the nozzle/attachment.
For house washing, you can use standard household bleach mixed more or less 50:50 with water and add a squirt of dish soap. Put this mix in a bucket or large container then run a plastic hose from that bucket into the inlet port on your pressure washer. Before applying the chemical, rinse your area down first with clean water using a white/red/or green tip, then apply the chemical using the BLACK nozzle/tip. Wait about 5 minutes for the chemical to work then rinse off with clean water. You don't normally need much pressure to get a great job when using a bleach-based soap mix like this but it is handy to have the extra grunt for stubborn dirt. Make sure you rinse chemicals off plants asap or you will burn leaves and kill plants.
Thanks for the video, Asa. What did you do with the dirty water? Is it OK to just push/spray it into the gutter?
Waste water treatment plants handle it. What happens to those toxins? You drink and bathe in it
What about the runoff? If there are plants or anything around the area where do you direct the runoff? Also if there is a well water system are there other biodegradable products you can use to clean?
Yes, that's what I was wondering. Seems like it should be vacuumed up and disposed of either in a garbage can or maybe the sanitary sewer although the latter would need to be checked out with the wastewater treatment entity.
That's the water you drink. It goes down the drive way to the gutter, n to the waste water treatment plant. Then back to your faucet
Any suggestions on how to wash a concrete floor in my basement?
I am in search for the same answer. The author of this video claims to answer questions posted in the comments however I am not seeing any response to yours.
ay bro can you do a catch and cook in that garage
Thanks
4:02 How long does it take for the garage floor to dry?
What was the name of the spinning attachment on the end of the powerwasher?
EZ Clean 15" Surface Cleaner Attachment
Where do you get the brush ? It’s not too abrasive ?
Is this product pet safe and can I also use it on cement floors?
Yes
Will this work with a 1700 psi? Or do you need the gas pressure washer?
Do you have a concrete or painted or epoxy garage floor?
Is epoxy flakes floor?
What's the name of the solution and the attachment please!?
This isn’t fishing lol.. good vid
How much did they pay for that job? Looks good.
Like to know this answer as well
How do you price a job like this?
Robert Olsson hourly?
I don't charge hourly, I charge a flat rate, depending on the size, and how dirty it is. I use to charge hourly, but I screwed myself out of money a couple of times. Always a flat rate for power washing garage floors, decks, gutter cleaning, etc, etc
Will this work in my basement if it is concrete
It will clean it up, but with concrete, it stains easily so if you want the stains out then you will have to buy some specialty concrete cleaner.
You used "some of this solution here"? What solution?
Zep concrete floor cleaner Home Depot.
How much did you charge?

How to clean epoxy floor. Epoxy , since is plastic , doesn't absorb oils or anything else ,everything stays on the surface. You could use even dishwasher liquid like FAIRY.
Title is misleading. Title should read, How to Clean a Sealed Garage Floor.
