To prove your point further, we see Jesus refering to the scriptures all through to make a case instead of appealing to traditions. That's to show you the richness and sufficiency.

Don't 4get the Bible teaches us that we must follow the oral, & written traditions together = 2 Thessalonians 2:15; And Christianity is a Religion James 1:26-27.
Its the man-made traditions that are evil, but not traditions from men who were Christians throughout antiquity.
Man-made traditions are of men who live to the world by following their flesh.
But 2 Thessalonians 2:15; is about following traditions from men who were followers of Christ, by following the Spirit of God...
      Food for thought...

@@onlylove556 You are already assuming that there was a tradition that the Christians believed that isn't found in the Bible and that's not a proper way to interpret the Bible. If we are to follow that logic, then it will be a contradiction. You'd have to prove that the traditions was in fact practiced as at that time which you have no evidence for. Example of such traditions is the assumption of Mary and the veneration of icons. There's no shred of evidence for that. And making it a doctrine an damning others to hell for not following that is in itself heresy

@@raphaelfeneje486 u can believe what u want my friend. All I'm saying is, as a Christian we all believe the Bible is the true word of God. So the Bible literally tells us to follow traditions in 2 Thessalonians 2:15.
And u were saying not to appeal to Traditions, which is unbiblical.
So do u believe that's wrong to follow traditions of Christian's, who were followers of Christ.
Bc there has to be some true traditions that are biblical throughout antiquity. Considering the Bible tells us that the church is going to be guided to all truth, not some truth, but " Guided To All truth" John 16:12-13...
      Would u disagree with that?

@@onlylove556 In 2 Thess. 2:15 they ALREADY had received ALL the oral teachings. This isn’t something that can be continually added to throughout the ages of time.

    • @onlylove556
      @onlylove556 Před 7 měsíci

@@Faithinthetruth my friend people always talk about how evil it is to add to the Bible. But this is what you're literally doing now. Bc nowhere in the Bible does it say that at all.
It literally says to follow the oral and written traditions period.
So u 2day in the 21st century have to go go deeper into scripture, & don't read on a surface level. Think about how there was no New Testament closed Canon at this time in history.
So obviously what oral teaching did Timothy have to go teach to other faithful men about Jesus. Think about it.
But if u still cant see then read 2 Timothy 2:2. Bc what u are saying is that it was just the O.T. oral & written traditions.
No' of course not, Timothy would have to teach the oral traditions that were handed down from the Apostles after Jesus. Since there wasn't a written NT closed Canon.
They had to teach Oral Traditions that everyone learned.
Just like when Jesus sends out the apostles out two by two. u think they were going around just teaching the Old Testament alone. No they were showing them a new covenant that was within the OT, but with new oral teachings they learned orally from Jesus Christ himself.
Teaching no1 has every heard b4.
But all u want to do is Twist & pervert scripture, to fit your ideology. Instead of just letting the Bible speak for itself. Bc u can't comprehend this, u think this cannot be true. ut it is true bc 2 Thessalonians 2:15 literally tells us we have to keep following the oral & written Traditions together as one.
But don't get me wrong I know what you're saying, is that the written Traditions St. Paul is talking about to St. Timothy
is the Old Testament. Yes that's true, but just like when the Bible says that "all scripture is God-breathed", St. Paul ain't referring to the New Testament scriptures. Bc for 1.) there was still more books that needed to be written. 2.) there wasn't no closed NT canon at that time. So Yes St. Paul was referring to the Old Testament scriptures, but the Oral traditions were new.
Bc now that we know the New Testament scriptures are also God-breathe, therefore that means the opposite of which you believe about 2 Thessalonians 2:15.
Bc if we use your same logic, then we have to say all scripture that is God-breathed is just the Old Testament traditions.
So do u see my point now.
We cannot Escape it, the Bible literally tells us to follow traditions. Which is talking about traditions of the Christian followers of Christ. Not to follow Jews OT believers.

    The Son reveals the Father:
He who has seen Me has seen the Father; how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’?
    John 14:9b
    The Scriptures reveal the Son:
39 You search the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life; it is these that testify about Me.
    John 5:39
We behold the glory of God the Scriptures and we are transformed:
But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit.

Anthony, I've been struggling with something for awhile now. Since God tells us not to add/remove from his words in Deuteronomy 4:2, Proverbs 30:5-6, and Revelations 22:18-19, what do you feel about bible versions that have proven to take out verses like; "Matthew 17:21, 18:11, 23:14.
    Mark 7:16, 9:44, 9:46, 11:26, 15:28, 16:9-20.
    Luke 17:36, 23:17.
    John 5:4.
    Acts 8:37, 15:34, 24:7, 28:29.
    Romans 16:24."
And have also changed verses like John 5:7-8 from a Trinity supporting verse to just "three that testify",
And in John 7:8-10 when many bible versions change the wording so bad it makes Jesus to be a liar, of which I've observed people use, to say it's ok to lie because Jesus did and then quote these verses. The changes in these bible versions, to me, change doctrine so bad it's heretical. I've seen several verses where they strip Jesus of being Deity like Micah 5:2 where the KJB says he's everlasting but ESV & many others give him an origin of "ancient days."
Am I wrong for believing that since God instructs us NOT to add/remove his words/meanings and these versions have gone against God's instructions, that they are corrupt in the same way Satan twisted God's words to influence Eve to sin? I'm seriously struggling with this. Maybe you have a video about it, I'm new here because I saw you on Standing For Truth annihilate the heretic Sean of Kingdom In Corruption, erghem, Context, so I'll look around to see if you've addressed this in another video.

This is how Muslims are able to memorize their Quran, & they still wonder why a lot of Christians are not memorizing the Bible. I mean its great for people to memorize scripture though. But its not an easy task, memorizing the living words of God. Even memorizing the NT is impressive, which I think its smaller than the Quran.
