This 2012 3.0T represents the first year of the C7 generation of Audi A6. Armed with the supercharged V6 found in the B8 S4, and the excellent ZF eight speed automatic, and a wealth of new features; this A6 is a serious performance sedan, even eight years later.

Had mine for 5 years. APR dual pulley 400+ at the wheels and currently at 109K miles and climbing. This is usually the end of a ownership period for me but I don't see much to replace it for the value currently. For now, I'm staying put. I have three other different vehicles for different driving purposes or experiences but the C7A6 remains my family sedan of choice for my dollar. Understated style, great all weather performance, still decent tech, quality build and mine has been rock solid reliable with basic preventative maintenance.

Have you chucked and exhaust on yours by any chance?? I've have mine for about a year, but the only thing that I want too critique about the car, (only due too my own preference) is the exhaust is so quiet. Sometimes I am outstanded by it but, wouldn't mind something with a bit more life too it. If you have an exhaust is it custom, or did u pick out a brand like armytrix or ipe?

I've also pulley and ecu tuning but not APR, APR checked the issue here in Turkey but they couldn't tell me if there's two or single pulley upgrade. if you can tell me your all modification list I'll be very happy, this engine with s-tronic have amazing capacity for power

I bought a 2012 A6 3.0T over a month ago and this video was one of the reasons I got it. I was close to getting a 2013 Audi A4/VR6 VW CC but after issues with a dealer we went with a gorgeous moonlight blue mettallic 2012 A6 3.0T premium plus S-line with the brown interior and 97K miles from a private seller for $11K and I've been loving it so far. It's the first car of my own, previously driving a 2007 Camry hybrid family car. It's faster than I need it to be and my only gripes are the underwhelming audio system, ~21MPG with premium (I came from 30+mpg with regular), and the car telling me one of the rear taillight indicators is out (even though I've checked and they all work).
It was this video among a few others that got the ball rolling on looking for an A6 and I wanted to thank you for it.

Great video and it really helped me with my decision in pulling the trigger and purchase a 2013 A6 Quattro 3.0T Prestige package locally in my city. This car has been on my radar for a while now as I have previously owned a 2007 A6 3.2 FSI, 2004 A4 1.8T and a 1998 A4 1.8T as well. I was looking for a S6 in this model year but no such luck so I got this one and I must say that this 2013 A6 3.0T is superior in all aspects of the for mentioned Audi's that I have owned in many aspects all ready. I have also gone ahead and did a Stage 1 034 Motorsport ECU upgrade and the difference was awesome to say the least. I decided to forgo the Stage 1 TCU upgrade as the car I purchased has the 8 speed transmission and can readily handle the Stage 1 modification. This car has been rock solid thus far and I may get more modifications down the road. The 2013 A6 3.0T is great car, sporty and luxurious, handles great, rides nice and can surprise a lot peeps at the red lights. I usually let the Supercharged badging on the fender warn them, but if not, then the site of my taillights surely do. Cheers mate , once again great video

I bought it with 70k miles on it. I drive a lot for work so now I am pushing 115k miles. Only main issue I have now is it’s oil consumption. It burns oil like crazy and makes you add one quart of oil every couple hundred miles even after an oil change. Checked for leaks during routine services and there aren’t any. So now I’m in the process of trading it for something else before they tell me I need a new engine lol.

    • @HamzaGuzel690

For those shopping for C7/C7.5 you may want to consider the ultimate factory developed A6. That is the A6 'competition" trim level that is exclusive to 2017 model year. Prices today are half what they where when purchased new. This car starts as a fully loaded 'prestige' trim and then Audi adds S6 goodies. Sport rear differential, a wee bit of added HP, sport seating with diamond stitching, red brake calipers (I don't care much for as everyone offers them now). Essentially it is an A6 with every option possible with added S6 performance.
Imagine this car with an APR tune, AWE exhaust.

APR stage II dual pulley, (93 octane tune) AWE touring exhaust with resonated down pipes, AWE S-Flow intake, APR CPS (coolant performance System), Eurocode front/rear sway bars, factory sport suspension, Adam's Rotors slotted brake kit, SS braided flex brake hoses, updated/revised Audi supercharger intercoolers (larger passageways). I purchased car 5 years ago at 17K miles. I installed all hardware myself, maintain my vehicle religiously when Audi Care expired. APR tune has been reliable with zero issues.
Car is/has been reliable.... but, I take care of it and perform all maintenance myself. Some caveats.... Audi recommends 10K oil change, I change oil/filter at 5K, Audi states transmission is lubed for life, ZF (transmission manufacturer) recommends replacing fluid at 80K or sooner. Audi states differentials are lubed for life.... Ugh. I changed out all fluids.
This car is a sleeper and off the line is a beast. Traveling on freeway and lane opens up, mash the throttle and instant response. Dyno run shows consistent pulls of 475 HP at the crank. Regardless of platform, the 3.0 V-6 is highly tunable and reliable.
