After much debate between the new Wolfenstein games and the Doom games, I decided to get Doom on the PS4; especially after seeing that Doom Eternal is coming.
xxnike629xx Doom in my opinion is a must play game. It is so great and I think you'll be pleasantly surprised by how much personality they give a character you never see or hear talk.
DOOM 2016 is a very decent and way underrated game. the snapmap gamemode is the best. can have endless fun playing other people's gamemodes and maps.. but unfortunately there are so little people that play, since it never got the publicity it deserves
I did love the addition of the Cyber Mancubus in Doom 2016. Seemed like a natural evolution for a classic Doom monster and in-keeping with the lore of the game, i.e. there's a cyberdemon, why not a cybermancubus lol.

My oldest brother and I always called the Mancubus the Tubbo Guy when we were kids. I don't know how we came up with that name, but that's what we called him. Also, I never really thought about what the Mancubus says before firing, but it sounds like it's saying "Mahngo mah oh" rather than Menablanablah.
They fire their cannons in an odd pattern as well, to diffuse strafing tactics. You can't simply dodge one volley and the next, because the last volley will always hit you. You have to strafe far to the left or right out of his field of fire to avoid getting hit.

It was the only thing realistic in the entire movie, how it almost killed him. Pinky is incredibly viscous and damaging if it gets too close. I would like to see that origins video!
The Mancubus may also get it's name from the term "man cubit", which is the length of a man's forearm. This would make sense, as the Mancubus' forearms are now canons.
1:41 Never in my 25+ years a DooM fan did I ever expect to be met with a video showcasing mancubus nipples... They cannot be unseen now. Also, they're still there in that very same picture, but they're 6 black dots aligned where them nipples are supposed to be at. Also: mancubi probably got taken from succubi/incubi as well, which are commonly use plurals for them demons. I use mancubi :p
I think the original is still the best design for him and I'll give Doom 3 the 2nd best design for him. But I'm not crazy about Doom 2016's design since it pretty much removed all humanity from his look. yeah yeah he's a demon still I liked that aspect of the designs in Doom 2 and Doom 3. But I have nothing really against the 2016's design either just still prefer the other two designs. Doom 64 however just was a horrible design.
Could you do a video on how the SS soldiers came to be in the secret levels of Doom 2 and why they are still in these levels and fighting you despite WW2 being over in the time Doom2 is set

Have you looked into DOOM 64 EX? haven't tried it myself but its supposed to be a faithful recreation of doom 64 for the PC.

Doom 64 had the eeriest atmosphere with the background sounds and final doom had a glitched lvl where 2 of the keys were in the wrong order

In my family we call the mancubus the "hungeemah" because that is the noise it actually makes.
