For many guys out there if you want to have only 1 fragrance per year I think this is it. My most versatile dumb reach fragrance and one of my favorite.
I work at a department store in the Fragrance Dept. and Versace Pour Homme is one of the most popular mens fragrances, it's not youthful like Invictus, this is more classy but a lot of young guys are always buying this fragrance, they love it! I have a lot of customers that they wear this fragrance year round because they work in a office and they don't want a strong fragrance that bother people who work around them. This fragrance is Fresh, Clean and Classy+ Sexy!!!
how does it compare with Givenchy Gentleman Only? Redundant ?
@@VS-yk3gu I have both, givenchy gentlemen only to me seems a bit more dressed up, and the versace to be more laid back and fresh in a citrusy way for a while. For me the gentlemen only loses fruitiness fast, but I smell the woodiness and musk and violet leaf for a long time after. Just my experience. I would definitely not call them redundant. Versace Pour Homme is cheap too, snag it!

You can use this in any occasion but it's perfect for the office/work.
Clean, fresh, masculine. Good projection, and longevity is average. It's my most used frag in the summer.
I literally had a women come running out of a store (Pre covid-19 lol) and up to my car asking what I was wearing with this stuff so she could buy it for her husband. Compliments are few and far between because I work with the same people but that one stood out to me.

For those who wanna pick this one up, keep in mind that your longevity mileage may varies greatly. For me this Barely last 5h and if I went a bit heavy on the spray maybe 6h max. If you get 8+ h then great but don’t be disappointed if you get 5 cuz this is the one you might get that performance.

Great review Dallas! I completely agree that this is a great fragrance and for the price you can't beat it. I literally can still get whiffs of the scent after 8hrs on my skin and clothing. It's a compliment magnet, great longevity and every man should have this in their arsenal IMHO.

I just got this frangrance and sprayed it twice on my neck in the afternoon and could still smell it next day in the morning. Longetivity is absolutely insane.
this is a solid frag in my warm/hot weather rotation. I have other scents I prefer in the cold weather. Never had a negative remark about this frag. :)

Bro thanks for your review on this fragrance. This smells awesome! I've noticed that I have the same liking on notes as you do. I sprayed this on my hand around 6pm to test it out and after showering I can still smell it the next day (even over the one I sprayed on). Thanks again and keep the videos coming

Oh I just love this perfume, although I never like fresh , aquatic notes but this one is something else! Smells so good on my friend, refreshing, aquatic and inviting. Now I have one in my collection, this is much better than the Dylan blue version. This one win, bug time! Wonderful great smells...love it

Just got this I’m really late on this stuff but on the opening I was thinking oh man this is weak after 10 minutes the dry down is amazing such a safe scent I plan on wearing this for work and school very Impressed fresh and clean and sexy
This is a great fragrance. Wish they wouldn't have reformulated it but it still does good. Woman customers always pick this out for their Men along with Paco 1 million, Gio Absolu, and Mont Blanc Legend lol

The juice from a 2019 bottle of this fragrance holds for just a little more than 5 hours on my skin. It’s not 8 hours, but it’s quite decent

On Reddit they said that it smells very synthetic and like a hair styling spray. I'm confused because I just bought it and my nose seems to like it a lot. There's something delicate about it, though, so you have to smell it a good while to fully appreciate it. I like the freshness combined with a masculine scent.

I layer it with Bvlgari Glacial Essence and it smells great, in my moderate 80 odd bottles today I'm wearing it with a few sprays if Bvlgari Glacial Essence. Smells great plus in Sydney Australia we are hitting 35 degrees Celsius today and 40 tomorrow so we have some stinkers coming up, this morning it was a choice between Chanel Allure EExtreme but I like that for more formal settings

I just bought mine today for $35 it's a good scent needed a summer scent.
also one question even though they might be totally different: if you had to pick one scent for summer/spring out of these two which one would you pick (scent wise, performance and originality all that): Versace pour homme or Parfums Vintage Evolution de Lhomme Soir (the elysium clone you reviewed once). These two i am very much thinking about. Both would have to be a blind buy and I would like to if possible for the moment only buy one of both.

Gets a bum wrap in the performance department but the sillage is where it shines. This leaves a great scent trail, one of my best friends wears this and I smell it constantly

Picked it up last year and it’s really grown on me. First it smelled very generic to me but as time went on I picked up an subtle nuances that make it unique. Many say it’s a budget version of allure sport eau extreme but I say it’s unique enough to warrant having both in your collection. Great all round scent especially for the gym with its clean and fresh character.
Andreas Hamberg not allure homme sport eau extreme that’s a different fragrance. Versace pour homme is similar to the just Allure Homme Sport
I brought one it lasts around 9 hours on my skin and lasted 4 weeks on my jumper after washing it I don't know if I got a goated batch code but I love the fragrance

My most complimented fragrance so far.
I've got a good grip of midrange fragrances now... this one to me comes off very offensive on the opening... almost headache inducing. Very harsh. But the dry down rocks... pretty simplistic...I would've expected more from a house like versace, but you get what you pay for.
Honestly I had a chance to grab mont blanc starwalker extreme. It's the least expensive fragrance I own and probably top performer. Very grown up, complex fragrance fir the price. After 10 hrs on my clothes it was still puffing out these fuzzy , warm yet sweet clouds a foot or more from my body... extremely impressed. Versace pour hommes...not so much.

I haven't smelled Versace Pour Homme yet, but there's a clone of it out there called Vintage Pour Homme, from a company called Secret Plus. I ordered it for $10, and it smells pretty good. I recommend Vintage Pour Homme for now.
One thing i say about Versace brand the 2 i have owned Versace dylan blue, and Versace eros not a fan of gave to my 13 year old son who loved it though both had great performance and smell dylan blue lol. Just ordered a 200ml bottle for £77 that will now last a few summer rotations

i think it is obvious that its still working...most normal people dont live around houndreds of perfumes, the top for them is a good deodorant spray so of course a good timeless scent will always take an attention

I don't know why so many fragrance reviewers couple the words "fresh" and "clean" together. That just brings up the image of a laundry detergent in my head and how they smell. That is such a disservice to how these scents like Versace pour homme smell. Don't get me wrong, I reaaly like your reviews and that's the reason I'm a subscriber. So I should say you are not the only one who uses this vocabulary. It just happens that I'm pointing it out here.
I totally agree with you on this...a lot of times when a reviewer says "fresh and clean" I immediately think Sauvage or a shower smell and it instantly puts me off. I have over 30 fragrances in my collection including my second bottle of this one "Versace Signature" and it couldn't be further from those types of fragrances.

@@jesswilson6012 don't get me wrong there are some fragrances that do smell like shampoo or bodywash and make you feel like you have just come out of shower fresh and clean. But this is not one of them. I would describe it as aquatic/floral, mildly sweet and uplifting.

I'd say Pour Homme has always been a dumb reach work fragrance for me, but I agree that you could wear it in most occasions
Versace Pour Homme is by far the perfume in my collection that receives the most feminine compliments, ahead of Aventus. It has become my signature fragrance.
