Took me 1 week to get the half of the sound. Maybe i'll master this on summer.
It took me a year btw. Because im not focusing
Liproll actually took me a whole month to get the clean sound.
Even if you aren't focusing, you can still do beatbox sounds while doing something.
That said, Ironically, I actually quit beatboxing for like more than half a year because I felt like I wasn't improving anymore. Please don't be like me, continue practicing beatboxing.

Anyone who is learning without a mic and having a hard time telling if you’re getting any bass vibrations while doing this, put in a pair of ear plugs or earbuds that had Josie cancellation. It has a similar effect as a mic so you can hear the bass

I just realized that I was doing the outward lip roll this whole time! For like a 4 months, and I was so mad because I thought I cant even do a normal lip roll... Not only that, I can do it on both sides of my mouth.

I learned the basic liproll after like 1-3 months of practicing it. Keep in mind, I am NOT a beatboxer and have no skills in beatbox(aside from the basic Boots and Cats easy beat). I just wanted to learn the sound. Tyla, if you're reading this, please give a tip on the difference between the basic liproll and the inward liproll. Because the inward liproll is SO much harder than the basic one. I dont' understand x(

Hey, I have a question. Am I supposed to have my tongue where I’m doing the liproll? Also when you say drag the bottom lip inward, do you mean enough to where it’s like right under my molars or enough to make it a flat surface for the air to pass through?

I can’t get the bassiness of it but I can make a half decent zipper sound. Also Tyler if u see this (which you probably won’t because this is 2 years later) im kinda cheating and using an inward bass as well as trying to get the lip position. Idk whether that’s how to actually do it or not but it sounds kinda cool

I've learned the outward liproll, and it's very cool, but on the inward i just get this high tiny sound altough i feel like im doing the same technique as on the outward.
I got most of it down but its creating like a vibration sound when i keep inhaling but it makes the more watery bass sound when i inhale once
