The upper is similar in feel to the Kobe AD 360 NXT, while the cushion and padded heel area are similar to the Kobe 11.
I have the ultra v1s the only thing bad about them is 1. You have to wipe pretty consistently if you want a super hard stop. 2. The laces have broken in multiple places and the eyelids are starting to deform and degrade. P.S. I’ve had mine for about 3-4 months.
I tried the 808 2s and the most annoying thing was that the drop in DIDN’T have that felt material. Socks scrunch up with all that grip in the forefoot.
I would stay away from the ultras with the boom (Styrofoam) dropin midsole. Mine crack at the heel and disintegrated after 4 wears and WOW's customer service is very hard to deal with. Love the traction, I would just get the regular 808s.
Here is my honest review of the shoes: i already have the regular 808 in peach and I just got these in the Bruce Lee colorway and man, I wanted to like these shoes but they are really not as good as the regular 808s. 1st. Be warned, do not pull on the tongue even though your instincts will tell you when trying to put them on cuz it will rip! Based on my experience. 2nd: it runs narrower than the regular 808s. I noticed that if I tighten them, they hurt and leave a mark on the tongue area and it looks like it's trying hard to hold itself together, you know that bulge fat round look on the lace area when you're trying to force a smaller shoe? Yeah that look. And yes I bought the same size shoes as my regular ones. 3rd is just the ease of putting them on. They are just not as comfortable, I thought they were just like a regular 808 with a strap but they are just a hassle. I guess more stuff doesn't always mean better stuff.

Compared to any Nike, Jordan etc. That matches it quality and performance wise, yeah It's cheap. If not cheap, then It's definitely more then worth It's price tag.

Do you have the translusent outsole? Because i have the regular 808 2 with the rubber outsole and i rarely need to wipe.
