• How to fix LG Soundbar...
My SN7R started having disconnect and pairing issues with my SPN5B-W subwoofer, then it wouldn't pair at all, then the power lights stopped working. The only thing I could find at first was a noise coming from the power input section of the board. The replacement boards (about $100) had a different component installed, so I almost ordered a replacement to try that.
After researching online for hours, I found multiple posts with people suspecting a firmware issue was causing the problem. I ordered a working subwoofer, a spare non-functioning board to test, and a chip programmer. After pairing/updating the subwoofer, I copied the firmware from the working subwoofer to the non-functioning boards, and now both work!
There's a video on here from "Magneto" who is ripping people off to have them send him the board to fix it. I tried to share my video on his reddit and youtube pages and got blocked. He's acting like he is the only person who can do this, like he's the only person who knows how....
You can purchase the CH341a chip programmer with soic8 clip on amazon, ebay, aliexpress, etc. It's about $10-20 shipped, depending on your location. You will also need the software and corrected bios. I will post them with the how-to video. I can also walk you through the steps on discord.
If you aren't comfortable with this simple tech project, you can also send me your board and I can update it for you. I would only ask for a few dollars for my time. - Hry

I have the issue with subwoofer, I don’t k ow it gets paired(solid light appears) when switched on but there is no sound in subwoofer, it only comes from bar…. What would be the solution?
I have an LG soundbar showing “emerg” after losing power during a firmware update. If I buy one of these devices can I flash the firmware onto the device with the lg firmware off their website?
I have a problem my sub woofer light is on but nothing comes out .i have an LG SN8YG
This worked perfectly..... Except im having problems with Bluetooth connectivity. The sub works thru the direct optical connection, but not with Bluetooth straight to the sound bar.
How can i get anothar boad i want to change it..

It might. Seems like the bad firmware update caused a lot of problems with that subwoofer.

@@whitemotorbike2011 it's not possible on these. Each subwoofer has a unique mac address. The sound bar can only pair with one at a time
