I spent a ton of money on pops in the last 16 years and even had doubles of a lot of the very first pops, but I sold off my collection thank god I got a buyer from NY that owns a comic and toy store and I sold to him 1,700 plus pops and I am done I have to say I love money more then toys any day because I have a new set of twin babies and a new home to pay for so me selling off my mass collection was well worth it for a fat check of 21,550.00 I also got 2 free rooms in my house one for my new twin daughters and a office for my wife that is a doctor. so I am very good.

I did have lady Thor beginning of the year and sold her for 50. Was kicking myself but then saw the movie and was like yeah that pop gonna trend down.

Thanks you for the information. I like how you give very good details on what to sell at the right time. Hope to start sell some of my Funko pop/ Funko soda in the near future but don’t know where to start. I have did a few research on the topic and i’m still debating where to sell for example whatnot. Do you have any advice for a person who want to sell their collection?
Hello Thaina, it just depends how fast you want to sell it and what you are willing to sell it for. For example we buy collections but for a % of pop price, if you want to get ppg or over individually one by one on Mercari is what i recommend. But it will take a sometime if you have over 20+ just have to be patient, and take pics of all sides and package each one with care. THANKS FOR WATCHING.

I personally enjoyed this video as the rest of your buy/sell now videos. Very informative and new collector friendly. As a new collector myself and trying to find pieces to add to my collection without breaking the bank, I appreciate this kind of content. I've spent many hours on social media searching the do's and don'ts and not very much content on that for new collectors. Without dropping any names, I saw/read about someone recently getting some hard feedback about the Eddie Funko from Target after saying it would not be grail as well. I'm grateful this information is shared. In my early days of seriously collecting, I spent $175 (more if you include shipping and taxes) on a set of 4 Blacklights. I can probably buy the same set for about $80 now. I didn't know any better, didn't know about restocks, didn't know about the hype and how it will cools off. So, IMO I appreciate the content. #slapshots

Definitely agree with you on a lot of these. I’m excited to see that PiaB Mighty Thor as well! I have to disagree on the Freddy Mummy Soda though. While there’s no Chase, it is limited to 1,000 total pieces and literally will never restock. I see it taking an early dive for the next month before shooting up even higher down the road. #SlapShot

Great list, all pops and the soda are definitely good pieces to sell right now! Thankfully nothing there on the list is in my collection though I do have a ton to sell right now. Maybe a video on how to sell pops in bulk quickly? Like if selling a lot is best, pros and cons of that strategy, etc. I forgot to comment on your IKEA shelf video! I loved it! We picked up 2 of the Eddies before they sold out. I just sent one to Galaxy Con in FL to send to a con in Germany to have it signed. I was stressed trying to figure the best way to flatten the box and ship, and after all of that UPS was delayed and it didn't make it in time. They already refunded us and I hope the box gets back in one piece. Love that Freddy Soda too. Awesome video, always great info, #Slapshot

Daniekas biggest collection is Stranger Things so we were getting it no matter what but I just though he looked awesome with his guitar!! Definitely hyped up in price way to much right now and when Target restocks that price will plummet!! Super great video as always!!! #slapshot

I definitely agree with the Eddie pop we were actually in target this past weekend. While we were there we ran into a worker that started chatting with us cause he saw my soda rocknrowe shirt and he brought up the Eddie pop and how crazy high it was going for right now and how they were restocking soon and to keep an eye out for it. #slapshot

Another great video. Many great points. Eddie and Jack Sparrow definitely fed off of hype for their current value. I feel many of the blacklight pops have initial value, but very few hold it, so not suprised white rabbit is on this list. #slapshot

Don't, don't believe the hype, public enemy definitely knew what they were talking about. Hype,fomo,Eddie, don't believe the hype, what goes up can go down (don't get wrapped up in the moment, don't pay outrageous prices for something you know will be available in stores again.). The black light craze is over (don't expect those black light pops in this year's box of fun to go through the roof and stay up there.), they didn't go as far as they did with the chrome but they are getting close, too much of anything gets boring after a while and yes that includes black light pops. I can see the target flocked White rabbit being around the same value as the black light white rabbit in the future, most people think that's the better pop. Everybody knows values go up and down all the time, Pops can spike in value when something happens in the real world but that does not mean they will stay up there forever. There's absolutely nothing wrong (it's a smart move.) With selling something for big money when you know you will have a good chance of getting it again cheaper, having a fluid collection that changes as it grows is definitely a big part of the fun so if you can move on from something you are not that interested in any more to go after something you really want now it's just like I always say, strike while the iron is hot or the iron Will strike you. Great advice about the Freddy Mummy Soda Slapshot! When you are serious about something (even if it's a hobby.) it's in your best interest to pay attention to what's going on so you have as much information as you can so you don't fall victim to sneaky cellars, most of us serious collectors already knew that soda does not have a chase but I guarantee you (this is a serious guarantee. I'm giving everybody the legendary Poppin Patty guarantee that everybody in the community trusts and respects.) plenty of people, like people who don't collect that might buy that for somebody as a gift for example, don't know that, if you're not paying attention you might think that soda has a chase variant, for most of us seeing that soda listed as sealed doesn't mean anything but for other people who just don't know that sneaky misleading listing can and will make them think they have a chance to get something that does not exist, they are smart enough to not say it doesn't have a chance of a chase while not saying it's got a chance of a chase while leading people on to think it actually does, that's shady, when somebody does something shady like that you better believe they are untrustworthy person doing other shady things so it's a good idea to stay away from them, technically listing something within the letter of the law while hiding in gray areas is shady( A little research is always worth the time. If you buy something from a shady person, you have nobody to blame but yourself when you are disappointed. When something seems too good to be true it is, when something just doesn't feel right it's wrong.) it pays to collect smart, the longer you collect the more you know about collecting, educated collectors have more fun (LMAO, because we have more money to spend on pops because we know what to look out for so we don't wind up saying I wish I wouldn't have. Obviously I'm talking about educated collectors like me and Velvet, LMAO, and plenty of other people I recognize around the community.) because we have collecting experience that grows more and more the more you are involved in the hobby. A pop I sold at the height of its value was the collector Kors captain America( LMAO, that was not my only captain America, LMAO, by any stretch of the imagination.) that sells for around a 1/3 today of what I sold it for at the height of it's popularity (hype, fomo.), I wasn't being shady because that's what the pop was going for at the time, there's nothing to feel bad about because we have all paid a premium for pops that are not worth what we paid for them now (that's part of collecting. There are no guarantees. If everybody had a crystal ball collecting would be boring.), I was so happy with the sale that I sent an extra surprise Spider-Man pop with it and I had no problem paying for the extra shipping ( I was told it was a gift for somebody's kid, that's why I included the Spider-Man for free. I don't think they have any reason to lie because they did not try to haggle with me but if they did oh well.) because I was happy with the sale. A pop that has been slowly moving down that is about to plummet in value that I strongly suggest to anybody that has it to sell now before you are left holding the bag is the Willy Wonka/Oompa Loompa 2Pack( especially if you have the golden ticket, the golden ticket is actually driving down the value of this pop even more, get out from under this albatross or you will be sorry!) because everybody is scared and petrified about The dark secrets and Hollywood head games that are going to come out on Christmas Eve when the long-awaited Gene Wilder documentary behind the chocolate factory premieres on Disney+. Sell or trade this pop while you still have the chance before it isn't worth the cardboard the box is made out of, everybody is going to thank me for this valuable information but believe me it's no problem because that's how much I love helping the community, hold on to this pop at your own risk!! Great video today! Today's video can help new n experience collectors alike, it's always better to learn from somebody else instead of from your own mistakes. Keep up the great work n Great content! Don't stop shooting till you hit 10K

Hey I have a question I have this Stan lee true believers pop but it doesn’t have the “show exclusive” sticker, will that affect the value and would it affect it largely if you know
I think not having the sticker affects the value by 5-10% but it’s still a great pop. I do know that some of those Stan Lee pops never had the sticker, only some of them unfortunately.
