Question about booting up iphone mentioned in 2:51. If i will buy aftermarket battery with different battery controller can i unplug original apple battery first, after plug new replacement to boot up to see msg non genuine battery next swap controllers + tag-on flex edit cycles and battery status? I don’t have any other battery or power supply to boot up...
It's super sensitive .The get shorted in no time.excctly temp and angle heating plays big role....so....one mistake with the Underfill and you have to insulate with your own .It's not easy at all.good luck everyone.try and try makes you better.

thank you for this! Does this work with all 11 and 12 series iPhones? like the 11 Pro or 12 Pro Max?
Yes, it works with iPhone 11 and 12 series phones.
Would be great to sell aftermarket screen with no IC attached so that you can install original IC easily

Hello, great video as always!
Is there any way to differentiate between original and the non-original screen after the Warning is gone?
Yeah after market ones usually don’t have True Tone
@@carlitos3460nope. true tone can be fixed even with warning still there
Does the screen gx can hold the original ac
it works i use this method and then i am writing this comment from another android phone 🎉
This is BS. That's like buying a Ford and being forced to buy Ford parts only. It's a Monopoly. Switching to Samsung.
Cars *do* do this. Volkswagens, for example.
Who's gonna buy all this for crern replacement. I'll just hold on to old lcd and give it to them when I sell phone.
Its the same for shitsung. The entire market is fucked 😢
@Delta6500ThisIsAURL no it isn't, you can even put a chinese lcd replacement for the original amoled and it still works without this crap stop spreading bullsht
This doesn’t mean you can’t replace the screen yourself, it’s just a way to safeguard people. I know this comment is old but to give you an example im looking around for a new iphone for my father, and without this warning message it would be really dodgy buying a used iPhone, you can never know if the original oled display has been swapped out for an lcd that’s much worse and that the seller is trying to pass as oled. So this is actually a useful addition, I still replace my own iphone screen whenever it gets cracked so it does not affect repairability
I tried replacing the IC CHIP on display. From the original, he loaded the data into the programmer. Then he put the original IC chip into the non-original one, uploaded the data back and the display still shows "Non-Genuine Part". The display, including touch, works perfectly. I tried flash and that didn't help either. Don't know where the problem could be?
where is your shop to do it how much cost?
does this work on the 14 models and 13 ?
How long an orginal changed display last?
Bhai ye notification ios 16 m bhi show hota h kya
is it still necessary to program the display aftet transferring the ic?
Not necessary. Please watch the whole video.
@@rewatechnology2008 thanks rewa tech, i did but wasnt sure

Hello bro in need your opinion, i want to update my iphone to ios 16 but i have that warning display, so is there any damages if i update my phone?
I don’t think so. I just updated mine and it’s working
Hello Sir

I have a problem of iphone 11
I was changing my LCD, i hade to write the old lcd backup on new lcd but mistakenly i wrote the new lcd backup on old lcd.
Now the phone true tune come back but giving me Display message.

Authorized repair shops also transfer the IC or there is any programming device ?
They use software to solve the problem.
Can u still fixed the true tone without the original lcd?? I will used parts original lcd as replacement screen
No, it needs to be the same code from the original screen.
@@Blochster yes you can with 3u tools
Yes you can, you can read the original code via the windows application 3u tools.
@@rapidrepairsau only on 11 and lower
What if we changing it with original Display of other iphone 12 display not with aftermarket display .Did ic transfer required?
IC transfer is still needed for OEM screen.
@@rewatechnology2008 Thanks for quick response
Great video, really shows the true essence of iPhone repair.👍
I replaced my iPhone 11 cracked screen with my wife’s good screen that had a bad battery. It is a genuine Apple part. Why am I getting the “unknown part” warning. Only thing that doesn’t work is Face ID which is not too big of a deal but it would be nice to clear this. This procedure seems very intense for a do it yourself job for what if would fix for me.
Hi, you will still get the "unknown part" warning even you replace with a genuine part. The only solution is that you change your screen at an authorized Apple service center or transplant the IC at a third party repair center. The procedure of IC transplant is technically demanding and we do not recommend non-professionals try this.
Hi bro pls mine just got problem on white screen now I'm in Nigeria now and there's no apple store here pls help me the phone is 13 pro max still under warranty but am told apple doesn't hve w as warranty pls bro help me out on how and where i can give here in Nigeria for a proper repair
@@rewatechnology2008Hi good day ! Are this issue still affect the iphone X series? or only iphone 11 above ? Thanks for the answer.
the unknown part error can be easily transfer by software n hardware from the original display. they just transfer the existing serial number to the display n enable true tone.
I have x and doesn’t show the warning so is there any other way to find if its not original
Even if it's an original screen, it'd still show not genuine part as long as it's a third party repair. Only apple stores can replace your screen without the warning message or you perform the above bypass which also fixes it.
hi rewa, do you still need to reball ic when using one of your screens that come with no ic?
That's a very good question. Did you get the answer?
@@felixtellegen7258no reply but from experience I have had to still reball the ic or it won’t make a good connection and causes touch issues or just won’t work
Will the display and touch work without the ic on the display???
No, it won't work. The IC is a touch IC.
hi sir iphone x screen half down screen work and half up sid not working but screen complately ok not line and broken how can i fix that whiout changing screen
Have you found a solution for iPhone 13 Pro Max? Thanks
This is happening for me too for my camera
Does iphone xs max shows this non-genuine display message?? Or only iphone 11 series and up?
only iphone 11 series and up
how do i get an oem ic if i threw away my oem old broken glass?
Who cares, I’m not opening my phone again to I get another broken screen. I did same thing throw the old screen away. Oh well. I still have a pro max 11
Will the face id work with your screen too?
Face ID won't be affected after screen replacement.
So this is no issue other than Apple wanting us to use their glass. I just got my LCD/front glass replaced from the mall and needed more information about this morning. Thank you for the information
I just got mine repair but the message doesn't bother me the phone still work like it should if more people can ignore the message lol
What happened if it can’t connect to WiFi or having trouble connecting to WiFi?
@@georgeray169 you could try and do a factory reset restore or there's something wrong with your Wi-Fi antennas if you got your screen repaired, then take it back to them

@@georgekokologiannis3783 how did this end for you? all fixed? if yes did unknown part message go after transferring true tone
@@misterzee5736 JC has released new boards that actually work now , that transfer True Tone to new screen . To remove message you have to transfer screen IC to new screen , which is difficult .
Can you just roll back to an earlier update ?
Sadly u can’t role back on iPhones
It it support gx display ?
Does this type work iphone 13 pro max with ios 16 ?
Yes 👆👆💯
Is it okay to update to iOS 16?
I just did
Why can't we just use an iCopy Plus ? The new update supports iPhone 11 and 12 screen serial number copy
It only restores True Tone. I have the updated device and have tried it on an iPhone 11. It's on iOS 16 so you don't get the message on the lock screen, but it still comes up when you go into 'Settings' and is listed under the 'Parts And Service History' section which appeared with iOS 15.2 and above. It seems the only guaranteed way to remove any of these settings is as REWA Technology show is by IC transplant.
Edit: 'these settings...' should read 'these messages...'
@@markaffleck4622 So actually after os 16, it's no big deal if we just copy the serial number instead of doing some delicate soldering, since we don't have the pop up message, and the true tone is restored, right ?
@@hugdienchine5951 After receiving back lash from the third party repair community, Apple sort of relaxed some of their obtrusive 'warning' messages following certain parts replacements. From iOS 15.2 onwards you still get the report permanently of 'Unknown Part' in the 'Parts And Service History' section in 'Settings' (which only appears if a part has been replaced), but at least it doesn't appear on the Lock screen for a while, like it used to. The original screen IC has to be transferred to prevent any messages at all because when that is done the phone sees the screen as the original paired one at manufacture. If you transfer the IC, you also don't need to program for True Tone.
What about aftermarket battery
We offer aftermarket batteries. shop.rewa.tech/list/apple-replacement-parts?tagIds=7
Refox i like it. free
Know i think many phone change the screen i doing like that now i i know 🤔
I keep having reboot problem when doing this on iPhone 12. Apple logo just keeps flashing
I also did, probably some problem with the solder. Try again and make sure every Single pad is in place and well soldered!
I live with the icon important message display. To save $250.
with a flex bypass is not needed to solder anything .
What do you mean by flex bypass?
@@_ryanspecter do you remember the flex clabes to test the lcd before assembling? Is only an extension cable where the original chip can be soldered , this way is not needed to solder anything in the new display and is easily transferred to next repairs of the same device
So how do I do this?
@@raimundoelmalo can you tell where to learn about this, flex bypass doesn't find anything
@@coolman1610 The original display IC send the data information display to the logic board connector through 4 pins. So is possible and easy to connect the original IC to a extension cable, this extension cable with the IC is connected to logic board and in the other side is connected the display cable. Is not technically difficult .
There are only LCD screens, what about OLED?
Currently, we only provide LCD.

In your rewa video transferring the IC chip on an 11 Pro screen (czcams.com/video/agq2HPK-WqY/video.html), you stated to heat the IC at 300 degrees. But here you say 240 degrees?
I would like to share in my experience: I was cheap and had the repair guy install non-genuine screen in my iPhone 11 vs. Apple Genuine to save money. Genuine wanted $230 USD includes labor. He warned me about glitches and I was aware. 2 days later, what a nightmare for weeks, the screen had a mind of its own. It was randomly not responding to my touch. It would go out of wack, I would even have the phone in my pocket and sometimes the flashlight or password prompt would activate then lock my phone out for 15 min to an hour (Message: Try Again in one hour) My point? Buy Genuine.
even Genuine can cause ghost touches, depending on the original OLED screen assembly and the replacement.
He used a cheap replacement part. Quality aftermarket parts are very good and any reputable shop should offer a warranty against defects.
Or instead of all this you could just tell the cusotmer a message will appear when I’m done cause apple hates 3rd party repair. Not a single customer has said dont repair my screen. Way to much to do for a normal screen repair. If I had to go thru all this id double my prices
this is what i say and no one cares and even hates apple more for doing it
Or u could also say there is £25 fee for transferring the IC

average customer do not complain about that invisible iOS message - many of them not even care about True Tone - because this setting OFF gives true to life colours - EASY FaceID replacement would be something BIG - TrueTone fix is useless.
Yes, but if you run a repair business, you dont just deal with average customers everyday, you deal with all types of customers.
@@alexzicong Your thinking is correct, most are product consumer's in ratio to business owners 😉
@@alexzicong still average customer is average - those non-average do NOT want to pay DOUBLE or even 4x more if OEM display price for repair for just not having this message somewhere in settings - and they prefer to go to Apple as....... it is CHEAPER (with iPhone 13 or even12) and they have 90 days warranty and ZERO stress someone did mess job (not applying adhesive gasket or not putting all screws back or dust on cameras or even more.
Just buy the original apple screen because if anyone is willing to go through all this BS they’ll charge you far more than the screen itself
It doesn't work like that. Even with a genuine display, if it's from another phone, it'll still slow because the IC is encrypted and coded to each phone.
