This song brought me to tears in the theatre; the idea that, in a world like this one-in the state it’s currently in-all of us powerless people don’t have control over anything. Rich and powerful people could strip us of everything we are and even end us. We just have to hold one another and spread love, because that’s all we *can* do. Heartbreaking, but comforting
@@DaPoopIsInDaPuddingPersonally I think crying due to empathy and sonder when faced with beautiful social commentary is a wonderful thing, actually It’s nice to delve into the meaning of art and look at the world beyond a surface level
There's nothing we can do? Disagree. If you live in the USA, read "Democracy in America? What Has Gone Wrong and What We Can Do About It" by Benjamin I. Page and Martin Gilens (both academics). It's not hopeless. That said, the whole planet really needs to denuclearize. We're all living while technically in this state of Mutually Assured Destruction.
I'm the same age as Tobias and can definitely appreciate the messaging of our own mortality and illusions of time. Not easy to explain beyond "I get it".
Same here, so much. I lost both parents last year, and time and mortality have definitely been on my mind since the shock and grief have begun to slowly ebb. I'm an adult without anyone to look up to in the world. Yeah, "I get it."

Amazing song!!! BUT I CANT WAIT FOR THAT LIVE VERSION OF "If You Have Ghosts" from the movie!!! SO DAMN BEAUTIFUL 🥹🖤🖤🥹 And Papas speech hit me STRAIGHT IN THE FEELS!!!!
So the song If you have ghosts (you have everything) was written by an openly satanic singer named Roky Erickson in the 70s. Tobias sang a beautiful rendition of that song, then goes backstage wearing......a Rocky getup. How many fans caught THAT?
@1980jandres WOAH!!!! Amazing attention to detail man! I definitely didn't notice that!! But that's so dope, I'll pay way more attention to that when I see the movie again! Thanks for that

A group of fans that likes to perform ghost's songs on stage came in the theater of my little town in nothern France, dressed from top to bottom as ghouls. It was pretty cool and unexpected, the movie started 25min late because everyone wanted a picture with them lmao.
Me and my family just got back from seeing the movie, the projector malfunctioned halfway through for like 15-20 minutes so me and a bunch of strangers decided to sing a bunch of their songs choir style while people in the front row used the screen for shadow puppet choreography IT WAS AWESOME! Good music really brings people together
Someone complained that me and my daughter were being loud just lightly singing to the music. couldn't even hear yourself in there. Some serious Karen behavior

This song! I love it so much. The imagery in the credits just added another dark and deep layer of feeling to it. The film was so mind blowing. I felt like I was back at the ritual in Melbourne, Australia last year. I forgot I was watching a film at times. It was so immersive. The sound mixing was perfection. The cinematogrpaphy and the performance were so perfectly in sync. I could not stop smiling the whole way through. How can a band be so incredibly perfect at blending so much heart, soul and sillyness at the same? The masterful marriage of theatrics and musicianship and songwriting. They are so much of what I love about art combined in the most masterful way possible. No band has made me both laugh and feel such deep joy and bittersweet sorrow as Ghost. Tobias you are a damn genius!
I was blown away with the movie as a Ghost fan. But what makes this song even more special it's literally everything (the melody, the lyrics, the visuals in the ending credits) considering the context we're living right here, right now. Remember to be kind to yourself and others, and love as if this is your last day. I really hope not everything it's lost 💟
There's some other songs about the cold war and nuclear doomsday that do this for me; Forever Young by Alphaville Since Yesterday by Strawberry Switchblade 99 Luftballons by Nena Now I have this Ghost song to add to that playlist!
I forgot to tell my mom to watch the Chapters, so she didn't have context story wise. Glad to say she loved the concert performance! I wasn't sure what her reaction to hearing Con Clavi Con Dio, Year Zero, or Ritual would be, but she's now a fan 😁.
Made my mum a fan too last night! I sat her down the night before and showed her the most important music and lore videos and gave her a short education to get her up to speed. Before this she enjoyed listening to their music when I played it on car trips with her. Needless to say she regrets not joining my brother and I at the ritual we attended last year! She loves the satantic themes. She's an athiest afterall.
I watched it in the cinema yesterday and damn I was mesmerized. It was so awesome. The movie reminded me so much of the ritual i attended last year and I was literally crying when Respite on the Spitalfields came on. Seeing it on the big screen after having had the pleasure to experience it live. It was as if i was back in the moment again. Didn't expect to have such a strong reaction to it. Absolutely aced it.
I'm predicting that this will be the most viewed Ghost video of all time - Rite Here Rite Now is an awesome film and this song fits so well with the end credits. Watching it in the cinema is a night I will never forget. Thank you Tobias - you are truly a modern day genius and a true auteur.

Idk how to explain it but this song really invokes feelings of nostalgia and like home-iness if that makes sense. It's different from what Ghost usually does but I like it. It was a pleasant surprise getting a new song at the end of the movie Copia's fear of letting go and moving on, of a good thing ending, are shared by all of us but it looks like a big new mission awaits him as head of the clergy. Looking forward to seeing what the future holds for Ghost musically and what Papa V and the Ghouls will look like in the next era of Ghost

The more I listen to this song the more it feels like a warm hug in the face of impending doom.
Saw the movie three hours ago; I'm even more obsessed than I already was. The future is looking bright for us all
What's gonna happen to Papa 4? 😢

He does. I feel the end to the movie is a tribute to fans. I thought the worst would happen to cardi but instead we got a heartfelt thank you to the fans. I loved it, thank you papa! The new song is great and I can't wait to see who the "new blood" is! Truly, if you have ghost, you have everything
Aww this really is how so many of us feel 💗
Thank you for saying what we all feel🖤
This song brought me to tears in the theatre; the idea that, in a world like this one-in the state it’s currently in-all of us powerless people don’t have control over anything. Rich and powerful people could strip us of everything we are and even end us. We just have to hold one another and spread love, because that’s all we *can* do.
Heartbreaking, but comforting
You people and your crying at everything ewwwww
@@DaPoopIsInDaPuddingPersonally I think crying due to empathy and sonder when faced with beautiful social commentary is a wonderful thing, actually
It’s nice to delve into the meaning of art and look at the world beyond a surface level
❤
People like DaPoop are rooting for that to happen.
Just when the world needed them most ghost comes out with this banger. Beautiful
I cannot get enough of this song since hearing it over the end credits of the movie. It was quite an emotional moment.
Yeah, "I get it."
im in my fourties too and ive been struggling with the idea of death since i was a kid, this movie was so comforting, "we will go softly, into the night..." This band means everything to me.
Bro everyone’s reaction to the end was amazing the groans and the swearing😂it’s a amazing film definitely go see it if you haven’t
The end was honestly perfect. It was a nod to the fans then a cliffhanger, then a new song. True ghost fashion lol

That was such a perfect point for that speech on so many levels, and that performance was amazing. Wish Roky was still with us to hear it.
It was outstanding
So the song If you have ghosts (you have everything) was written by an openly satanic singer named Roky Erickson in the 70s. Tobias sang a beautiful rendition of that song, then goes backstage wearing......a Rocky getup. How many fans caught THAT?
