Fantastic. What an effort from Graham Bonnet going in attempting singing it like the original, great stuff. He gets pretty close as well.
My Favorite Guitar Player of all time. Still got it and on FIRE here. Nobody sounds like Schenker. NOBODY!!!
my friend... that's what i have been saying ever, Schenker is the greatest underrated guitar god of rock, and same as you mentioned NOBODY have his soul and passion for playing guitar

this is not the original lineup of the michael schenker group. it is the lineup from the Assault Attack record though. Gary Barden was the original MSG singer in 1981.

Michael is still one of the best, most original and lyrical guitarists I know . However, is there something wrong with Graham Bonnets ' voice? Sounds like he has problems with high notes...
The "problem" is that it is 70 years old.
graham is touch and go, even back in the day, but there is a recent version of "desert song" floating around (with msg on this tour,) where graham nails it.
I saw this show in Cleveland on 3/16/18 and Graham's voice was superb. This is just bad quality recording. The entire show was Outstanding by all the singers and musicians and of course Michael's playing was amazing!!
