Neck crank also works, if the timing is right. Get the wrist on the opponent's throat just under the chin. Think of Shamrock vs Severn.
I have used it in sparring effectively.

Similar thing happened to me with a drunk guy,but he missed a little and I was able to get my arm around the front of his neck and I pulled him back and to the ground, and when I got him to the ground luckily the cops saw what happened and got the guy and put him in cuffs

Steven Segal technique.... maybe. But ,it's easy to land an elbow shot, no matter where, that's will hurt the agressor

Quick question. Isn’t relative height a real factor here. Kevin looks like he’s at least 6’4. What if each person is normal sized or the victim is shorter

    Philippians 2:10-11
10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
11 and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

I’d believe my grandmother could do the chop more than seagull

That's the common ignorance for people who don't actually know how dangerous judo and Jujutsu 🥋 can be. Of course they're aware you might be tempted to attack the back of their neck. As tall & big he is, fall down like mango 🥭🥭🥭🥭 in season 😂

The problem is that it doesn't need to be a karate chop to the neck. There's a bunch of targets exposed with the take down attempt that is protected by rules in MMA. You need to get it done quickly and pray that your opponent is inexperienced.
