I was 11 in 1982. This game captures the wildest gaming dreams of my childhood. I can’t believe I will get to play something like this in VR in my lifetime.

Bought this earlier today and I really like it so far! The speed and non-stop action are incredible, and it looks beautiful too!
The controls are a bit overwhelming at first, but it's definitely the kind of game that feels great when they become second nature. I'm only starting to get used to switching hands for shooting and driving the bike and it feels awesome!

I know I'm tardy to the party, but I just came across this game on my Quest, and I was blown away. I have been looking for a Cyberpunk/Blade Runner type of game recently. I absolutely love that this is set in a golden age of 1980s anime style world like Akira. The gameplay is challenging enough, which keeps bringing me back to play more. I am currently trying to unlock the other bikes. Runner would be a great title to turn into a full-fledged VR game with a fleshed out story. I really hope this has been considered. Fantastic work!

To be honest though this doesn’t really get me that exited as it’s already on pc and it looks more like a lower level psvr 1 game anyway
Nah, we’re pushing detail and environment density in the city that would bring psvr1 to its knees. Hundreds of buildings with procedural details, plus the game is running in panel-native 4K at 90 hz, which is absolutely essential for the speed of the action to be manageable and comfortable. Also, the game utilizes all of the system haptics in tandem to elevate the experience.
*Also the game isn’t presently available on PC, just Quest 2
