For your first gold glitch, you can just throw the pal at the ground -- Much less likely to glitch. I prefer the hanging trap/burn-the-marketeer-to-death glitch that you can do starting at level 4, though... Much safer! Hit the marketeer at least once in order to get the loot (but be sure that you don't accidentally destroy the trap!)
@@ianceasarrasco6360 Move the campfire around on the area where the trap ring is... When you have it in the right place, the campfire will raise up just a little. Even if it shows it can't be built, try anyway. It will work when you have it in the right place.
I found that if you enter the menu with the marketeer, it doesn't force you out of dialogue, he can't take direct damage anymore, but is still affected by status effects, so equip a pal with Poison or Fire Skills and walk away, this helps prevent a misinput and lets you walk away or do something on a second screen
With a full attack build and player damage maxed in world settings you can easily 1-2 hit the Black Marketeer with a Legendary weapon to farm gold much faster than talking to him to glitch him out.
