- Climbing waterfalls and bushwhacking with dirt bikes. The Private property hard enduro dream come true! Today we had a wide verity of dirt bikes. I rode the 72v Surron X, Alek his Sherko 300 and Trae on the trials bike.

Hey edwin whats the top speed on youre x160? I just picked one up yesterday with a x260 battery and im topping out at 35mph on a gps speedo. I was wondering why im not getting 40plus mph like i thought.
The gearing is low. a 58 tooth sprocket comes with the x160 and the 260/Surron comes with a 45. That and did you cut the wire?
@@EdwinOlding are they actually 58? Segway says its 48, but ill check later that would explain the lower top speed.

You like an E bike better than a 2T for this kinda thing or you like em both pretty equally? I’m skeptical to invest in an E bike.. they don’t have gears or a clutch do they? lol I wanna take one out for a weekend before I drop some decent money into a new toy. The instant tq seems like it could be useful/fun.
There isn't a straightforward answer to that question. Any gas powered woods bike is a better weapon for this terrain. The ebike isn't a direct competitor. It's just a different option for whatever reason you choose. For me it allows me to ride in places where the noise of a dirtbike would create problems. I also like to do things the hard way sometimes. I've taken my BMW R1200GS through gnarly trails that normal people wouldn't. It was a challenge, and I don't care to ride like that anymore! Ebike doesn't have clutch, so that's a learning curve to overcome for technical riding.

Yea like that guy said it's a different ball game hard to compare. The sur ron is mountain bike/enduro mix but more heavily on the mountain bike side, there are other brands that go the opposite way and more towards the enduro/dirt bike side too. Don't sleep on ebikes man they are fully capable of gnarly shit
@@Mr.Thermistor7228 yeah but I use sound a reference to know what I’m doing/what gear I’m in/am I in the powerband or not/etc… If you could give an E-bike a clutch… I would try it out. Teaching an old dog new tricks is something I’m not really about. Just my opinion. The bottom end torque is cool (LIMITLESS…) but the rest I could give up for a 2T/4T. I love makin a melody through the forest. Electric whine doesn’t quite pitch my tent. Lol

For the kind of terrain shown here they are brilliant. I’ve ridden my Surron more in the last 3 months than I rode my KX in 5 years. Sold the KX.

Definitely could be, throwing the geometry off and putting more forces on areas that weren't designed too
You should record in 60fps, 24 is looking quite blurry in my opinion!
It's actually low light that makes it kind of blurry like this, I have the same issue in the woods. 60fps worsen this effect even more in low light conditions.
