No you are wrong. There is nothing special about IITs and IIMs.
They are CEOs because they have studied in foreign institutions.
Even if they were not from IITs/IIMs, they would have still got this success.

For instance, sunder pichai was a chemical engineer from IIT and a chemical engineer has nothing to do with a software company. But still he is ceo of Google because he has studied management from USA.

Another example is satya nadela, who has studied from a B grade college in India but still became ceo of Microsoft

10-15 years behind??? What a joke. You are a generation behind India. IITs were established in 1950s and the foundation was laid back then. Can you list a couple of institutions in Pakistan like IIT? If you do not know about IIT, just go and google about it and understand the quality I am trying to mention here.
Pakistan also has its own Institutes. University of engineering and technology Lahore. Lahore Univeridty of Managemnet Sciemces is another univerisity. Kindly search about them. Uet is govt institute. Merit is very high over there. For example one has to score 95 percent marks in 12 and 10 standard to get admission into it. Our medical institutes are also high in merit. King w
Edward medical institute is an example of that.

KFC ceo is Pakistani. Altough non technical but still thats a achievement. You have refer to number of stduents competing for a university. I think that doesnt justify about quality of students.
@@ranahasan24 For the quality of IIT students, except Sathya Nadella of Microsoft all other Indian CEOs of international firms are from IITs as of today. Indian firms like Infosys was started by IITians. Founder of Java, Sun Microsystems, was an IITian, Founder of Yahoo mail, an IITian. The list goes on and on, not just in the field of Computer science but also in other Engineering fields and also in Science. That is why there is a general understanding in US that getting in MIT, Boston is lot easier than getting in IIT. Only missing point though is a nobel prize that is still pending to be achieved for an IITian.
So, there cannot be any comparison. And BTW, India has other top univiersities that are ranked in top 500 in the world other than the IITs. Although we have to improve a lot more to the likes of USA or Germany in higher education and research, India, with its limited resources, has achieved sky high since Independence.
@@ranahasan24 not to be rude but, you think 95% is a high score? Here in India even after having such a huge population, scoring 95% is nothing but mediocre. Anything less than 98 is considered to be common because of the capacity of children here to learn and execute, and the population. IITs in India have a lower acceptance rate than HARVARD, at around 1-2%. So the probability of a student getting into Ivy league colleges like Harvard and Stanford are more than getting into an IIT. There's simply no comparison with Pakistani institutions to what the Indian institutions like the IITs and IIMs have to offer. No doubt Pakistan is producing really good students from good institutions, but to compare them with regards to skills and qualities of faculties, students and resources with India is mere stupidity I feel. Nonetheless, I wish for both our countries to grow and produce exceptional and well rounded individuals.
