I'm so excited to FINALLY be able to go thrifting again and I can't wait to see what treasures we might find! That's what you need Sherry is some of those baking dishes I took old rolling pins that were well rolling pins that were not old they were like a newer ones that I found at the thrift store and put tears between my three tiered pans making pans and I painted them so that they look like old rusty tins you should try that that's a really cute idea and then I put big ball wood balls on the bottom that I got at Hobby Lobby has a flat side on one side I'm sure you know about that I don't need to tell you keep up the good work girl

Sherry I don't know if you do this or not this is what I do I'm 72 years old when I see a couch that's really a nice brand that's got those bun feet on the bottom those round bun feet they're like 15 to $17 at Home Depot I stop and unscrew those bad boys take them home I had a cabinet TV Entertainment Center built for my living room and I put four of them on there I have four left because I got them off the couch and the love seat and the ottoman yeah that's what I did keep up the good work
Don't ever second guess yourself Sherry you're as bad as I am I do the same thing and that I walk away and when I get back home I'm thinking why didn't I buy that that was such a nice item anyway you'll see another one someday keep up the good work
I love your creative mind but I cringe a tad when you want to paint pewter candlestick s and glue them! I understand and all but I would have loved to have had those sticks! You just keep on being creative and having a good time, and I will be enjoying every minute!

I went thrift shop hopping yesterday here in Oregon and I was shocked at how high the prices are now...wwhhhaaaa...I decorated my 126 year old farmhouse with treasures I have found over the past few years. If I had to do it again today it wouldn't be so fun cause the cost and the lack of quality items on the shelves.
OH, was it??? I hate when you go to a thrift store and their prices are so high, you might as well just bought it retail! It takes all the fun out of it!

Everything is great and I like your finds. My only problem is sometimes.uou pan your camera too fast and I get sea.sick. I understand it can be difficult to do it slowly as you looking at the merchandise at the same time.

What happened when farmhouse decor goes out of trend and style just wondering cause it is in the Midwest nobody is really buying that stuff anymore and our Kirkland went out of business and they used to sell aloof of that stuff not that I bought anything from any of the stores just don’t have the money to do that.

OH, they don't? I'm sorry to hear that, because that takes all the fun out of it! We actually have FOUR great Thrift Stores within a five mile radius and it's so exciting to get in the car just anticipating the treasures you might find. It truly is like treasure hunting!
