I don’t blame Clement for the first 45mins or the starting 11. He selected the squad based on fitness and training performance. The starting 11 let him down but the subs came on and made a difference. If he started Sima and Matondo and they went off injured after 25mins then he would have been slated for that also. Players need to take the responsibility.

I get that some players weren’t ready for 90 minutes, but playing with Wright is like playing with a man down.
If he's ready to play he's ready to start, might have to hook him after an hour but if he can only handle x amount of minutes it doesn't make a difference if it's at the start or end of the game in terms of being ready, it's the same amount of effort for the same amount of time.

Unlucky start to the game made the players panic but after half time big Phil calmed the team down and we dominated the 2nd half unlucky not to get the 3pts. Need start the game at porkheed with that mentality we had in 2nd half. Time for all the supports to get right behind the team till end of season then yous can moan about players. Shambles of a 1st half but they’ll be sick at that result, will tell you they would have taken a draw before kick off but being 2-0 up then thinking they won it with the Idah goal they’ll be spewing and don’t let them tell you otherwise, 2-0 down in previous seasons that would have been a capitulation and 4 or 5 to Celtic… win on Wednesday we’re back 2 points clear, still well within our grasp to win this league

Okay he won the penalty, but I would have hooked Silva at half-time and bundled into a taxi back to Wolverhampton. Spent most of the first half rolling around crying. Can't be doing with that, we need warriors who will stand up and fight. Pathetic and embarrassing.
Don't want to make it about nationality, but he reminds me of Bruno Fernandez in that respect, pathetic and embarrassing indeed. I don't think the gaffer will be too pleased with his antics so hopefully we won't be seeing that again from him.

Tavs (goals aside) is a shocking defender. Always plays an OF like it’s his first game. Goldson is nothing short of embarrassing and needs to go asap along with Souttar. A defence that never makes tackles and never attacks a ball whether it’s our half or the opposition. Lawrence isn’t half the player he thinks he is and the same goes with Lundstram. Dessers was starved of service and that performance from Silva was oscar winning. Don’t want divas anywhere near this team

The centre backs need upgrading in summer. Goldson is finished, a bombscare now.
Showed great fight back to come back twice at 2-0 Down and 3-2 but we gave them all 3 goals today.

Only yilmaz stays from this current backline, tav goldson need gone. Can make an argument for keeping soutter as squad depth. two new cbs and a right back are now an absolute must and today made that glaringly obvious.
Imagine what we could without giving them a 2-0 headstart! Entire back 4 needs a reboot. And thats without Borna! Front 3 was toothless. Silvas antics were embarassing. Jack kept us in it. 2nd half subs changed the game. Happy for Sima and Rabbi! Big Phil will know all this i'm sure and with a full summer window i expect these improvements to made. I really don't see us not losing the away derby based on these individual performances from the usual suspects.

I thought the decision to start Lawrence and Wright was a bit baffling in all honesty especially given that none are regular starters for us.
First half our pressing was shocking and we had next to no composure and had Butland to thank it wasn't more.
2nd half much improved but still very frantic at times but we were by far the most dominant team.
As big phil says though you dont see too many old firm games where a team makes a comeback like that but we still shot ourselves in the foot with the 1st and 3rd goals we conceded and wrecked our chance of trying to build any real momentum.
Im more relieved than anything at full time as its still in our hands but it means we need to go there and not lose.

Goldson and Tav are both hopeless and Lawrence shouldn't have came out for the second half.
First half shocking. Worst 45 from tav in a long time. Wright just isnt up to the level we need, much better second half but u can tell clement will need a good frw additional players i just hope we pip the league and he gets some serious money to invest.

There's a lot of discussion why we didn't play this or that player at the start of the game. PC mentioned that not all the players are 100% match fit or could go the full 90 mins so although we were terrible first half you could see the difference second half. We need the best players 100% for the Celtic game and we need to be careful we don't slip up after all the hard work. Mon the Gers we're still in it.

Scott wright? Was he even on the pitch? The guy is complete and utter garbage and should never get a game for us again. Big dujon? The guy is a machine and was my motm today. The total opposite of that waster wright. Look at the difference between the two halves and the way we look with and without wright on the pitch. Hes too wasteful, lazy and weak and hopefully thats the last he gets to wear our colours.

He plays with a lot of passion , is young . I’m sure clement is working on him . He’s an amazing talent. That weighted pass to sima was brilliant after the 60 yard run. We must work on the quality . Guys like dessers have to be junk yard dogs to make something happen. At half time I was thinking clement said - okay they won first half we go win second half and show our fans we’re going to fight and scrap….i feel good cause I think Celtic will drop more points JMO

The first half was terrible. We were awful and the score could have been worse. Luckily we showed a good mentality in the second half and I think that could really help up with the last 7 games.

Barasic should have started and Sterling should have played out wide in place of Wright. Sterling is fast, Strong and Athletic. Silva was an empty shirt like a few in the first half. Saying all that were still in it and come the split points might be dropped by both or one of us. We can do it.
Barasic was out with a illness.

The first half from Rangers was really poor, with poor defending. Second half showed up celtic for what they are. Weak at the back and still have the support of the referees.

I am proud of the comeback and spirit of the team 2nd half, but where the hell was any of that first half? These players should not need motivation in this fixture. They should be fired up from the start. As a fan I feel cheated by the first 45. They owe the fans at parkhead a complete performance for 90 mins. Why do we keep falling for Celtics tactic of pressing us around our backline? It is what has lost us every time we have lost against them. They look for us to backpass around defence and between defence and keeper and swarm, looking for mistakes or bad passes. Then they capitalise. In general play they aren't that good, but they are very good at pressing us at the back. Their defence is there to be got at generally. Proven by the fact they have dropped more points. If Clement can set us up to outsmart their press, we can win against them. I think if our defenders are braver on the ball and sharp in the pass, always looking to take the ball forward and perhaps even pass over the top of their pressing front players, and play the ball long if need be it will take pressure off. I would think it is better to lob the ball, than turn backwards with 2 or 3 players on a man. They can't do anything if they can't get the ball in those areas. Celtic have realised press Goldson constantly and mistakes will come.
